Maximunnar T & U Leisure Hotel

We stayed at Maximunna T & U Leisure Hotel, Munnar for 3 nights as part of our family holiday, and overall, it was a pleasant and memorable experience. Though the property is a bit older, it is maintained very well, and the warm hospitality of the staff makes it stand out. A special mention to the reception team, who were kind enough to shift our room to the reception level the next day when rooms became available, without any hassle. This thoughtful gesture truly reflects their customer-first attitude. All Deluxe rooms offer stunning views of the Botanical Garden, and the serene atmosphere around the resort is perfect for a peaceful stay. While it's located just 1-2 km from Munnar city, it is nestled in a quiet and calm surrounding, offering the best of both worlds--accessibility and tranquility. The restaurant offers spectacular views, and one of the highlights of our stay was the early morning departure experience--the staff personally came to check on us around 5 AM, offered us packaged breakfast, and even turned on the hot water specially for us. These little things made a big difference. There are a few minor areas of improvement--some maintenance in the washrooms could enhance comfort, and adding a few desserts to the breakfast spread along with slight improvement in recipe quality would be appreciated. The resort also has ample parking space that can accommodate around 10 cars, a small but sufficient lawn, and some good indoor recreational amenities like a pool table, carrom board, and table tennis for families and kids to enjoy. Overall, it's a value-for-money resort, and we're adding an extra star purely for the outstanding service, helpful nature, and politeness of the staff. Would definitely recommend it to families visiting Munnar!

One person who made our trip especially memorable was the General Manager, Mr. Praphul Chandren. Though there were other staff members to assist us, Mr. Praphul personally took the time to walk us through the hotel's amenities and provided an excellent introduction to Munnar--its attractions, scenic locations, and local insights. We arrived knowing very little, but thanks to his thoughtful guidance, we left feeling like we truly experienced the heart of Munnar. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money. We're adding an extra star for the outstanding service, helpful nature, and genuine hospitality of the entire team. If you're planning a family trip to Munnar, we highly recommend T & U Leisure Hotel. You won't be disappointed!

Stayed one night with family in a premium room. Rooms are well appointed with all amenities. There is no airconditioner in the room as you don't need an Aircon in this location. Good food. Fish quality can be increased. Overall good hospitality and we enjoyed our stay

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in a Hill Station across India. Excellent ambience, very well behaved staff, clean and a glass restaurant overseeing the beautiful tea gardens. Enjoyed a day in January'25 with a relaxed mind and delicious food. Would definitely like to visit again.

We had a great time during our hotel stay. The location was spot on, close to everything we needed, and the views were stunning. The staff were super friendly and always ready to help, which made the whole experience even better. The hotel had a relaxed and cozy atmosphere, making it easy to unwind. And the food was amazing--fresh, tasty, and definitely a highlight of the trip. We'd love to stay there again!

Excellent service, food and kind staff. I had dined for dinner for 2 nights and breakfast for 2 days. The staff were patient to understand the kind of food which we were expecting and accordingly informed us.

Dined in their restaurant for lunch. And I must commend that for the first time in my life I had schezwan noodles with cashew in it but it was absolutely scrumptious. French fries were crunchy. Watermelon juice without sugar was pure heaven with ice cubes. Cold coffee was yet again spot on!! Gulabjamun was also scrumptious. Ample space to sit and offers great view. Reasonable rates and ample options to eat veg and non-veg. They also have high chairs for baby! Was an outsider eating food hence, can't comment on rooms!!
