Fragrant Nature Hotel & Spa | Luxury 5 Star Best View Resort in Munnar

Stayed 2 nights as part of a tour around Kerala. The views are absolutely breathtaking. Staff very welcoming and very helpful. Hotel is clean but getting a little tired in places but nothing to spoil our stay. Food is excellent and very reasonably priced, if drinking alcohol is for you, then you need to know this hotel is not licensed, it wasn't an issue for us, high tea was lovely, especially with the views. Although we didn't take part in any of the activities the hotel provides, the variety does look good. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Checked into Fragrant Nature Munnar this evening. While the property itself is beautiful and well-maintained, the service has been shockingly poor--especially for what is supposed to be a five-star hotel. It took over 30 minutes and 3 follow-up calls just to get extra glasses delivered to the room. The duty manager, Mr. Martin, personally came to apologize and promised better service, but unfortunately, things only got worse. Later in the evening, housekeeping was supposed to change the used glasses and cups, but even after 2 hours, nothing was done. Requesting a dental kit took 25 minutes to arrive. We had been recommended other properties by our travel agent but chose this one based on glowing reviews. Sadly, our experience doesn't match the hype. Service standards need serious improvement if this hotel wants to maintain a five-star reputation.

We stayed for 2 nights on our self planned tour of Kerala. Arriving at the hotel is a treat - the views are just wonderful. We'd booked a room with a terrace and it was lovely to have our own private outdoor space. The room itself was also nicely decorated and very comfortable. The pool area was stunning, though limited beds and a fair few flies around. However, a dip in the pool should be experienced. It's a good job we're fit as the lifts can be a bit challenging, waiting and heading to random floors! We'd booked dinner, bed and breakfast as there's nowhere else to go. The food was absolutely delicious. We were a bit wary of buffet situations but there was so much choice and everything we tried was delicious, the chef kindly explaining everything and bringing fresh, delicious naan. The activities were good - the chef even let me cook for the cooking demonstration since it was just my husband and I. Snacks and tea on the top floor was also a nice touch. Although there's no bar, we were free to drink our own alcohol in our room I also tried the spa, quite expensive for the package I was sold. Hopefully they'll put price lists in rooms soon so guests can make more educated decisions. Would definitely recommend a stay here though.

Stayed in Fragrant Nature, Munnar last week.. Amazing place with great view from the rooms if you opt for a room with terrace.. The manager, Bibin, deserves a pat on the back for his excellent customer service.. Arpita, who directed us to our room and all the other staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Lovely place. Lovely two days.

Despite its lovely view the hotel itself feels very claustrophobic. The staff lack training and were not very smiley. The chef who did the cooking course was very pleasant. Also, there is no alcohol served at all in the hotel and I think guests should be aware of this before they arrive. We weren't told about the A la Carte restaurant as our booking included dinner from the buffet restaurant. When we discovered the restaurant the following evening staff were confused we wanted to pay PS10 extra to choose what we wanted....still no wine though! The rooms were very big but didn't give me the feel to be in India. I wouldn't stay here again.

The room was very spacious and well appointed. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food in the restaurant was great. The views over the tea plantations is spectacular and unobstructed from every room. Loved our stay here! Nice glass elevator or lots of stairs.

I recently stayed at Hotel Fragrant Nature and had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and the stunning views and beautiful scenery made the stay even more memorable. I also had a lot of fun at the swimming pool, which was clean and well-maintained. Overall, it was a perfect and relaxing getaway, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

High in the mountains with incredible views of Tea plantations.|Rooms are well appointed although a little dated in style. |If you have mobility issues this is not the hotel for you. Lifts are small and pool is located on a lower level so you need to take 2 lifts and walk down numerous steps to get there. Space around the pool is limited and only 6 sun beds for the entire hotel and no shade!!! This is very disappointing. |Staff are as always very friendly and helpful. |Food was also very good. |Due to its location there is no where to walk so you will need to take a taxi or Tuk Tuk if you want to venture out.
