Eagle Mountain Resort

If you want to stay out of town and do not want to roam here and there then you can opt for this resorts. No room services... no food... it is kind of lodge where you can stay and then manage everything at your own.

The review and pictures here dont draw correct picture. Its not worth the stay and we had to change the hotel even after we had paid in advance.||Rooms are substandard and washrooms are dirty. Tv, wifi nothing worked.||There is no view as well. Its location is also very remote.

Possibly the best aspect about this place is the lower price. Lower price that comes with stunning view from the balcony. The resort is not exactly a very fancy one. But service is good. NOTE - There is pretty much no shops around the resort, and everything is a 15-20mins drive. Ordering at the resort itself willl take a long time before they get the food. Breakfast however was really goood. There are some trails around that get you to the rock surfaces that you can see from the balcony, make sure you ask the staff.

We had a wonderful experience at Eagle Mountain Munnar. We visited in the month of May end 2023. If you like peaceful and calm place than only this place is for you. Its not a resort but a good hotel to escape from the crowded place and stay among lush greenery and tropical forest. Since this property is among the nature, the property is little far away from the main town and the roads to reach this property are quite narrow and raw. Pros: - Spacious room with private balcony. - View from the balcony is top notch. - Cardamom plantation, mountain view - We spotted many birds like humming bird and giant squirrel - Loved the peaceful environment and seating area in the balcony - They made fresh and served hot food. Takes longer to prepare fresh food so We didn't mind to wait for our food. Which was tasty and delicious - No need of AC or fan. The atmosphere was pretty cool and pleasant. ( A table fan can be arranged if required) Cons: - Property is not maintained outside the restaurant area. Otherwise the property is so beautiful. - Found plastic bottles and bags near the restaurant area and lawn area.

I loved the place although I have visited unintentionally without any plan. But truly worth the price of the room and then the structure, place , peaceful and affordable for everyone. Highly Understanding staff and very kind hearted , down to earth. Eagle Mountain Resort is located in a hill station where views are literally at the eagle's eye.

Location of resort is very poor Cleanliness and hygiene can be rated 4/10 Food is decent Cook behaviour and service is good Hotel manager is not available most of the time Room doesn't have 3 star amenities like boiler, room slipers, hair dryer, fresh towels(everyday), dental kits, body wash, lotion, toilet paper, tissues Electricity goes more often. Take half hr to start generator Room size is good Cook prompt response and service are appreciated Hotel owner has travel business and charges more than expected when enquired for some booking Not safe to come back to hotel after 7pm. Absolutely dark on the way.

Such a fabulous resort with incredible views of the surrounding forest. The roads leading to it are pretty rough so come with an experienced driver. Quiet, secluded, and peaceful. The food served at the restaurant was good and we had sufficient Wi-Fi access considering how remote the location is.

We originally booked this hotel for 3 nights and decided to stay an extra night. The staff are lovely, the views from the balcony are great, it's not a tea plantation view, but cardamom plantation view down the valley, you are literally in the middle of nature. It's a bumpy ride from Munnar and takes about 25 minutes by autorickshaw. You are 10 minutes walk from the tea plantations and have the most rewarding views over the valley. The food here is excellent, catered to your taste, we like our food Spicey and the kitchen was more than happy to make our food like this. It's also very fresh, cooked to order and very well priced. We ate on our balcony which was really lovely. Seriously don't miss out on the food here! The staff are very helpful and genuinely care about you. After helping us with which buses to catch to our onward destination, they messaged us to check if we had arrived safely and we were OK.
