Carmel Top Resort

Might be spoiled because we have been staying in fabulous Marriott properties, but here there was no shower curtain (entire bathroom flooded each time), no toilet paper, no soap, no shampoo, no bottled water in the room. Did not like the "omelet" breakfast. The mattress was way too hard for me (wife was OK with it). The building itself was new and modern feeling and a good location to downtown if you can handle the climb to get to it - which we enjoyed. Wi-Fi was great.

I stayed in this hotel for 4 days with my family Pros: * Good service. The staff were helpful. * The room is very clean. * Large window with a really good view. * Complementary breakfast was good. * Reasonable price. * Towel, soap, toothbrush, etc. is all given. Cons: * There is no restaurant in the hotel. Since the hotel is located uphill, walking to nearby places can be little difficult. You can book a cab though. Overall, it is very good. Highly recommended.

Rooms are very clean. The hotel staff are very polite. Food is very tasty. Even their laundry service was perfect because our clothes smelled nice and were perfectly ironed.

Rooms are clean and tidy. They offered standard toiletries but did not replace it the next day even when I booked for 2 days. The best part of the hotel was the view from top of the hill. If you rise early you can watch a beautiful sunrise from your window which is facing the city. The hotel was under renovation so did not have 24*7 room service. Room service is available in between 8 am - 8 pm only.

We stayed at the Carmel top resort for 2 nights during our visit to Munnar. The highlight of the hotel is the view from the room. The hotel is located on a hill top near the carmel top church. The room was great, clean washroom. We had a nice stay at the hotel. They provide breakfast (very basic nothing fancy). The only negatives we found: 1. There is no lunch or dinner option available. 2. There are no staff members. We found only 2 people doing everything. Service was decent but helpful. 3. Parking is far away. You need to hike to get to the town and come back to your room. Overall a decent stay, will recommend for the view.

I had an absolutely wonderful time during my stay at Carmel Top Resort in Munnar. The location of the hotel is ideal, nestled amidst the lush green hills, providing stunning views of the surrounding tea plantations. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality of the staff and always ready to assist with anything I needed. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with modern amenities. I especially loved the cozy ambiance and the peaceful environment, which made for a restful retreat after exploring Munnar's scenic attractions. The breakfast served at the hotel was delicious and fresh. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay in Munnar. Will definitely return on my next trip!

Vacationing at Carmel Top Resort, Munnar, was living the dream. To begin with, the staff, i.e Mr. Rahul, Mr. Pravin and Ms. Laxmi were very polite, courteous and friendly, making our short stay even more memorable. The rooms were very spacious, clean and luxurious resembling a 5 star resort. The hotel's location was excellent, offering panoramic views of the town, the rolling hills and tea plantations. The breakfast buffet was delicious. At the foot of the hotel was a snack shop where we enjoyed fresh snacks and tasty tea, and a few steps away was a restaurant named Arabian Grills, that offered delicious food for non-vegetarians. Lastly, the Kannan Devan Tea outlet, which is a must visit for tea lovers, is located about 5 minutes from Carmel top. All in all, my family and I highly recommend holidaying at Carmel Top Resort.
