Away from the noise and very calm. |Staff is friendly and very attentive, from the property manager all the way to all levels of assistance, just great! Clean rooms, spacious and the restaurant has a vast variety of international and local cocine. Hotel offers local activities for all ages. |Great place to be at.

Exceptional Stay at Amber Dale Resort, Munnar I recently had the pleasure of staying at Amber Dale Resort in Munnar and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality extended by the staff--especially Ms. Seethal at the reception--was absolutely top-notch. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, assisting us with every detail from check-in to local guidance. Her warm demeanor and dedication to guest satisfaction made a significant difference in our overall experience. The resort itself is stunning, offering breathtaking views, luxurious rooms, and a peaceful atmosphere perfect for a relaxing getaway. However, the only downside was the in-room dining service. The food delivery took quite a while, and unfortunately, the dishes were served cold. For a resort of this caliber and the premium price we paid, we expected at least warm, freshly served meals. Despite that, the overall experience was excellent, and thanks to the outstanding care and support from Seethal, we left with wonderful memories. Highly recommend Amber Dale for a luxurious stay in Munnar--just a small suggestion to improve the in-room dining service to match the high standards set elsewhere in the resort.

The hotel is actually nestled on a hillside with not much around. Stayed there for two nights with family, the hotel had a great welcome for us and those welcome drinks were delightful! The staff was ever so courteous and went out of their way to help our stay be as comfortable as possible. |The rooms themselves were so clean and that view of the valley was breathtaking! Got up early to see the sunrise from there and it did not disappoint.|The hotel had a number of daily activities that one could participate in and certainly recommended, e.g. Tea Tasting and a Roof top Fireplace which again gave amazing views. |The hotel is perched on a hill and going in and out for activities would be slightly inconvenient, and there aren't many shops/buildings on their semi-private road anyway. But the hotels covers for it by having a shop in-house, and a great restaurant. |Dining there was an experience in itself, especially dining in the balcony which opens up to the gorgeous views again.|Truly a memorable experience.

I am absolutely delighted with my recent stay at Amber Dale in Munnar. From the moment I arrived, the warmth and professionalism of the staff made me feel welcome and cared for. I'm sincerely grateful for the room upgradation. It was spacious, immaculately clean, and offered stunning balcony views of the valley and tea plantations. Waking up to a breathtaking sunrise from my balcony--where the sun rose gracefully over a nearby hill--felt like living within a "live wallpaper." That view alone made the early morning more magical than I could have imagined. The hospitality was exceptional. Every staff member I interacted with was courteous, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The food was very delicious, prepared with great care. A special mention to Rajan, the local guide, who led a soft trekking session--it was a unique and refreshing way to explore the natural beauty around the property. Thank you for making my stay so memorable!

I stayed 4 nights from 4 to 8 MAY 2025, the hotel is in the best location in the valley , high altitude and nice view from Anatha category room which has tea garden view balcony. Breakfast is good having varieties of food. But their dinning management has to be improved by providing a restaurant manager during peak hours. Enjoyed my stay in the resort and I will come back again to here.

I visited Munnar with my family in May 2025. The location of the property is amazing. Rooms have got beautiful views of the valley and the mountains. The staff too is very good and helpful. The breakfast spread too is decent. Surely would recommend this place for people visiting Munnar

We have enjoyed the stay at Amberdale. The location is reasonable close to town. In face this is the best resort that is accessible from munnar town. The room is near and clean. Service & food are very good. The view from Ananta room is awesome . Highly recommended.
