Ac Mist-Munnar (VSSS) for Rooms& Accommodation

Situated remotely atop the hill, accessibility is very problematic. Rooms are nice with 24 hrs hot water. That's all. Nothing more. They don't have a restaurant and you can't even get a cup of tea here as there is no room service. Rs 2000 per day rent does not worth it. Don't come here if you don't have vehicle with you. For tea and meals you will have to go down hill by road for half a kilometre. Otherwise you will have to climb down through more than 100 steps to reach out to an eatery for tea or meals. This process is knee- wrecking. In return you have to climb up again those 100 odd steps to reach the lodge which is tiresome and exhausting which will make you breathless not advisable for those with health problems. I stayed here for some time but immediately left because of this as I felt solitary self imposed confinement here. Don't believe the reception clerks if they say over phone that eateries are very close. The eateries are tantalizingly far away. If you have transport come here otherwise don't come here.

Liked: Well maintained with clean floors, clean bathroom, clean sheets and towels. 24 hours hot water (electric geyser). Room spacious, value for money. They have a treated water dispenser for hot and cold water that provided 24 hours drinking water. Logging into their wifi network was super easy - they have pasted a QR code in each room - just scan, click and you are connected. The room had a balcony (Room#201) with very nice views. Front desk lady was very efficient, answered our questions and helped with a quick check-in, check-out. Very cordial. Disliked: Very steep climb using steps to access the property via a church. On two days some function was going on and it was difficult to get thro the crowds, Alternate route was nearly a km extra distance with a climb as well. Property is part of a church - some program was going on every day and the noise reached the room. Further during the nights (till about 11pm) they had some kind of bonfire below our room with loud music affecting our sleep after a tiring day. Not enough charging points. No light controls near the bed headboard. No side tables.

Amazing location with a picture perfect balcony . Hot & drinking water available. service is awesome. Cozy bed with Amazing hospitality. Drivers have parking & resting area. best package in this range.

We came with a team of 16, above 60 years old..all wer very happy with the facility and hospitality. Mr. Arun wad really helpful for us. I will surely refer Mist for all my known sources. Thank you Mist Team.

The location is great, hotel located on a hill, just need to take the steps to go down to be in the Centre of the town. Rooms are okay, can be cleaner. View from the room is good. Service was alright.

Hotel is situated in the heart of Munnar with a huge parking and scenic beauty. Getting budget friendly rooms with this much facility is awesome.
