We have stayed In this hotel and they given a memorable service, food and hospitality to our family, while comparing other hotels. This is the best hotel and price is low cost. The place was very since it is located near the mountain. Stay at the hotel was a memorable experience. We could not have asked for a better place. We felt we were at home during our stay. Food quality was good and rooms were neat with good response.||||Rooms are spacious and ravishingly furnished. Comfortable beds and nice design in general .The operatives was receptive and professional and the concierge was extremely helpful in providing tips . Would definitely recommend this hotel.

This is an unusual hotel. It advertises a "health spar", which was a separate building with six or seven exercise machine, which appeared to have been unused for a while. Unfortunately the boiler for the steam bath was in pieces in the garden, but was being worked on. There was a small swimming pool in an attractive garden, with turgid green water that was not over-tempting. ||||The overall impression inside was of a dark building, with dark wood panelling and brown fittings and furniture. The dining area consisted of several cubicles separated by dark wood panelling, with no windows, except for the breakfast area in a small conservatory. Because of its remoteness amongst the mountains it probable caters for Indian rather than European tourists.||||We were welcomed by the ever-cheerful manager, and promptly given the top floor suite at no extra charge as the hotel was virtually empty. The suite consisted of a large, clean and comfortable bedroom with a balcony which overlooked fields and towards the mountains. The was an extensive sitting area outside the bedroom, and a huge bathroom extending into the distance, at the end of which was a separate lavatory, all in good order.||||The food was substantially Indian, and very good - large dishes of "chilly" chicken, of fresh-water fish curry with big portions of vegetable rice. For breakfast we had porridge one day and then a specially prepared Keralan breakfast eaten in the fingers next day.||||The patron arranged a guide and driver to take us to the Chittar National Park and beyond into Tamil Nadu through some really exceptional scenery. He provided enormous packed lunches of rice, curried chicken, onions, peppers, chappatis and plenty of water, the meal being wrapped in banana leaves. We were treated in royal fashion.||||The hotel is situated about 40ks east of Munnar, where the tourists seemed to stop and come no further. The route is winding and slow but passes through wonderful mountain and forest scenery, with waterfalls reaching to the river below. The outlook and surrounding area of the hotel is very beautiful, and it is well worth the additional journey.||||The hotel is several hundred yards down a road off the "main" road through Marayoor, and is thus quiet and peaceful.||||Unfortunately it is not cheap (perhaps why it was nearly empty) - two nights with meals etc came to R6,500. But for those who can afford it I would recommend it for the superb scenery and the cheerful friendliness with which we were received.

I had ended up at Hotel Anaimudi, Marayoor on a night as all hotels in Munnar and vicinity were sold out||||It is a worn down hotel crying due for refurbishment at least 5 years back. Hotel layout reminds of a narrow barn shaft with pigeon holes. Completely traveler unfriendly hotel as we had to carry our luggage all by ourselves via a narrow and steep flight of wooden stairs up 3 floors as there are no lifts !! Easy chances of little kids falling down the stairs. ||||Non functioning TV, Water heater and even bathroom door bolts. No restaurant in the vicinity. Sleep will be disturbed by the stomping noise on the wooden stairs and from nearby rooms. Stay at your own risk. !

Depressing hotel with uninterested staff. Actually a very wierd experience because it could be so much better. The view from room 212 is amazing. 180 degrees of a beautiful valley, nestled in between mountains from all sides. Rooms are clean but uninspiring, and are pretty expensive. 1100 rupees per night.||||Some things to watch out for:||||There is no restaurant. You have to walk/rickshaw into town.||No pool. I didn't really expect one to be honest, but I should mention it.||Staff don't talk to you. ||No atmosphere whatsoever. ||Hot water needs boiling first, and its just enough for 1 person. The next person must wait 30 minutes for more for a hot shower. ||||All in all, don't stay here unless you must. I was speaking to a lady on the street nearby and she said that she'll be opening up a homestay in Maryoor soon. She was absolutel;y lovely, spoke great English and would make a brilliant host. If you can find her somehow, her name is Sweety.

The rooms are very spacious and it really feels like home because of the amenities provided. The owner and the staff is very good and friendly. Food is awesome and rooms are super clean. The place is hygienic and there is no typical smell in the rooms.
