Nest Mountain Munnar

We had a wonderful stay at this 2BHK home last week( 29.11.2024). The house was spacious, clean, and very well-maintained. One of the highlights was the balcony, which offered a fantastic view - perfect for relaxing with a morning coffee or an evening chat. The fully equipped kitchen was a great convenience, with all the necessary utensils in excellent condition. Both bedrooms had attached bathrooms, which were clean and functional, adding to the comfort of our stay. The property also had parking available, which was a big plus. Additionally, a restaurant was conveniently located just about 2 km away, making dining out easy when we didn't feel like cooking. Overall, this place was perfect for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. I'd highly recommend it to anyone ( Friends, families and couples) looking for a peaceful and well-equipped home away from home.

Budget friendly accommodation. Good for a family group as its a 2bhk facility. Kitchen utensils might not be new but the caretaker is generous to replace it with available new ones. It had an outside dining area, geyser on both bathrooms, small kitchen with gas stove, parking space for one or two cars. Safe and peaceful for families. Munnar has become extensively crowded at all attractions, restaurants etc during season time, so we couldn't visit every place. May feel odd but i recommend non seasonal holidays a better time to enjoy. Not cold enough during the day, but a little cold at night, my visit during the December Christmas holidays. L To reach its a left turn to a small pocket road from the main road and go about just ~ 500m, medical, vegetable and groceries shops are available near to this junction. Bonus: Walk 100m after Nest mountain to see a small tea plantation hill side, good for some pics.

My extended family and I (8 adults and 3 children) stayed at Nest Mountain in Munnar in April 2023. The view and the location of the place is really good. We had taken 2 villas/cottages to accomodate everyone. The rooms were very spacious and both the villas/cottages had a very nice sitout with a dining table and chairs. The view from the sitout was very blissful and calming. We had actually booked this place so that we could make use of the kitchen because I was traveling with a 2 year old. The kitchen was very horribly maintained. The entire kitchen counter was sticky. It looked like the previous guests had poured some liquid and it was not cleaned after that. The gas stove was also extremely unclean and poorly maintained. In both the bedrooms in the villa/cottage the ceiling fan regulators were not working. So we could not control the speed of the fan. Even though we complained about it to the caretaker, no action was taken.

It's a fantastic option for travelers looking to enjoy a quality stay without breaking the bank. Overall, I highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting the area. With its excellent room, ideal location, friendly owner, and affordability, it ticks all the boxes for a perfect stay.

Best thing about this cottages is the view from the balcony its a very nice location and has an outdoor dining space and about the rooms they got 2 bedroom (bath attached)hall with a tv (with no channels)and a small kitchen,no a/c(it's munnar guys already airconditioned) overall it's 6 but I would give a 7 because of the view and outdoor dining space.one room got a moldy smell i hope they take care of that problem.
