Spice Coast Cruises House Boat - CGH Earth

I can't rate the service highly enough on this private cruise. The team were both discrete and very attentive, and the food was spectacular (and a bit overwhelming). We brought our own wine (if that is your thing), but beer and local wine can be added at the start of the cruise. It was amazingly restful and scenic - the difference between this cruise and the other ones we saw during the trip couldn't have been more stark. This trip was both considerate to the environment, the traditions and the local population.

My husband and I had a lovely experience on the houseboat with our crew (Thankaeken, Sam and Reji). They were kind, hard working and so friendly. The food was so delicious! We both agreed that it was the best series of meals that we have had in all of our travels through India. Thank you so much, this experience far exceeded our expectations 10/ 10

The rooms were really homely, extremely comfortable, nice and cool, included an insect / mosquito net and had a basic bathroom which included all the required amenities. We had one of our best night sleeps in a while on the houseboat. The rooms are small but you're on a boat and it's unrealistic to have more space than what there was. There isn't anything negative about the rooms that impacted our stay. The staff are superstars and we really enjoyed our time with them. Service throughout was impeccable. The staff always checked what time we wanted to eat, they chatted to us and explained the local scenery/ wildlife to us, they gave us plenty of space and we're just really pleasant individuals. You felt safe with them throughout the journey. The food on the boat is stand out and it's something you have to try. There wasn't anything we didn't like that was prepared and if it existed, I would have bought a cookbook off our chef. Travelling around the backwaters on this houseboat was a delight and a highlight of our 3 weeks in India.

a unique experience on our own private boat cruising the backwaters near Kochi. picked up from Coconut Lagoon Earth Resort where we stayed the night before. Three staff on the boat. very friendly. food excellent for our three meals. Maybe the bathroom could be improved but not a huge issue. Highly recommend.

This was a wonderful and very special cruise and exactly what we hoped for. The charming crew did everything they could to make our trip as good as possible including walks into local villages and another walk to see where the river met the Arabian sea. The crew were a delight, the food was excellent and the location very special indeed.

This place is purely heaven on earth. Such a blissful and a mesmerising experience in the backwaters with the stunning views. The authentic kerala cuisine served in the boat was excellent and tasty. The staff and crew are very well behaved. The Houseboat Manager is also a thorough gentleman. He even arranged us a cab back to the hotel. Overall a great stay, a peaceful and a memorable experience.
