Kovilakom Resort

It's a nice resort with a scenic view. Nikhil was quite welcoming and provided great hospitality. Washroom could have been maintained better and they don't have staff other than caretaker post 5 PM. So if you planning to have dinner, it Won't be served hot, although the food was great .

Very pleasant place for stay. Traditional house , backwater view, staffs everything is good. Especially night from this house is so beautiful. Breakfast is too good, we missed lunch since don't any food outside had meal at stay it self Overall good for this cost,

The location is spot-on, and the view from the property is fantastic--a special mention to Nikil, the caretaker, for taking care of us throughout our stay. The food they serve is delicious.

We hosted a marriage reception event at Kovilakam Resort, Muhamma, on November 14. While the ambiance and venue were pleasant, we were deeply disappointed with the behavior and cooperation of the resort management. Despite paying a premium amount to rent the space, the service fell far short of expectations. As part of the package, we were provided a single complimentary room, but unfortunately, it was in an unacceptable condition--the toilet had not even been flushed. Additionally, we paid 5,000 each for two extra rooms, only to find them in the same unsatisfactory state. For the price charged, this was highly disappointing. There are many other resorts in the area that offer better lake-facing views and more professional management. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Kovilakam Resort for hosting any functions. Moreover, the resort owner's rude and unprofessional attitude added to our dissatisfaction.

Kovilakom is a traditional Kerala style architecture oriented Resort with all most modern amenities. The Resort is located near Muhamma, Alappuzha district, Kerala. The Resort can be accessed via road and waterways. The Resort in it's traditional grandeur and marvel offers a calm and pleasant feeling for stay. The detailing of the Resort is exemplary. All the minute details has been carved into it's architecture and overall visibility. The designer properties, pictures, traditional furniture and showcrafts are a thing to experience. Regarding amenities the rooms are air-conditioned, wifi provided, ample parking, gated compound with CCTV cameras, in-house diner and kitchen, hot water provision etc. They also conduct wedding receptions, company meetings etc., for the needy. The property with a large backyard offering enchanting view of the Punnamada Lake is exciting. The service of Mr. Manoj, Manager of the property was exemplary. He needs a great appraisal, which has to be revealed here. He will be there for all your queries and requested help, that's for sure To stay in this property search MMT or call directly to book.

Just the perfect place for a family getaway.. about an hour's drive from Kochi, this scenic resort on the backwaters was just what we were looking for .. and the landscaping and the heritage architecture was just so relaxing for us city folks.The food was tasty and homely too .. and wonderful to see the personal touch put in by the MD herself , to make us all ,young and old comfortable!

We rented this resort for a wedding reception as they introduced us that there they accommodate more than 500pax for early functions. But I can assure you that it's just for 150 pax not more than that. Very horrible to park the cars and no PUBLIC TOILETS . JUST IMAGINE CHARGED A LOT AND NO COMMON TOILETS . PLEASE DON'T GO FOR FUNCTION THERE

It was a wonderful stay here. The resort was amazing and so pleasant.The hospitality given by Mr. Nikhil has to be mentioned. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Kovilakam Resort.
