Meezan beach resort

We stayed for 2 days , the room and location is good with good view. Took full payment during checking in and no service later, people are careless once checked. Service is very bad, no restaurant, no proper breakfast provided. If only room needed then book this stay.

Very bad service, unhygienic and ill maintained property. Kind of scammers. Going with family is an absolute NO... - Paid 18K INR for one night, 7 guests - luckily all were bachelors. - Care-taker guy was a younster in his 20s who was seeing us a nuisance. - There was no drinking water inside the locality so we bought around 30 litres bottle water on our way. - To our shock we discovered that no plates or glasses were there. When we asked this guy he said that glasses cant be provided as guests break them. We didnt want to ruin the evening so politely called the person who arranged this & somehow managed to get 5 glasses and 6 plates (FOR 7 GUESTS). - Toilets inside were unclean and was strongly smelling urine - Toilets outside near swimming pool was absolute filth & unusable - Not a single cupboard to keep your belongings - There was only knee level water in swimming pool when we checked-in. Has to persuade our guy to get it filled which got filled after 5 hours & by that time it was already 9 PM. Also by next morning we found that water is back to knee level apparently due to leakage. - Only 3 bath towels provided for 6 guests. We were already tired of following-up so managed with our personal towels. - You cant even boil water (leave alone cooking) because there is not even a coffee kettle in the property. - Close to mid-night around 13 youngsters led by our care-taker casually came inside premises, took a good look around swimming pool and went away. I literally sighed a breath of relief that I am not here with my family. - Bedroom that faces ocean front cant be locked because lock is broken. We slept with our wallets and mobiles under our pillow. - Couldn't set-up barbeque or grill bcoz care-taker guy claimed he dont know how to use the grill nor does he know where we could arrange the required items (like chicken, masalas etc.) - Next day breakfast was complimentary in the so-called package. After following-up for nearly 1 hour we got breakfast at around 9:30 AM. It has 10 small pooris, 2 packet potato curry and 5 paper plates. There are no good restaurants nearby so all 7 of us has to manage with whatever we have.

The rooms were nice, but they are not well kept in the service was also poor. The rooms were dusty. Plus, it is also expensive compared to other resorts nearby.

One of the best resort I have visited till now. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. From the window, we could view the sea and feel the cool breeze. The location of our room was absolutely perfect. As soon as we come out of the resort, we could enjoy the waves of the sea, it felt like a private beach and it is a very good place to relax and chill. I must say the location of resort is at best place of Kerala..............Faazking

Good place...but can be kept a bit more clean..very good environment. Service was little bit dwn. Otherwise a perfect place with a relaxing environment.

An excellent gateway perfectly suited for extended stay and get mesmerized with humming of sea waves. Comfy rooms, nice size pool with direct view of Arabian sea. Attentive team took great care of us and the Spicy restaurant of the ownership was perfect. Must try tamarind mojitos. Will definitely return.
