Hotel Travancore Regency

Clean rooms, good service, ok-ok breakfast and budget friendly - that's my summary of Travancore Regency. I have visited this place many times in past, and they have managed to maintain the place really well. They also have a place where they host events on the top floor - the same place where my engagement ceremony was held. So yes, one of the very few good hotels in mavelikkara.

Went for lunch; we waited almost 30 minutes because it was packed. My pregnant wife was with me, and people who arrived later were seated first. The waiter said he did not notice because it was busy. We left hungry because my wife was not feeling well. Seriously, you would expect better service from a star hotel; they need better staff to handle guests.

I had a very disappointing experience at Traavancore Regency. As a 4-star hotel, I expected at least a basic standard of food quality, but what I got was far below that. I ordered the chicken biriyani, and it was honestly the worst I've ever had. The taste was off, and the chicken wasn't even cleaned properly. It completely ruined the meal. I've never had such a horrible biriyani in my life. Definitely not the experience I expected from a place with this rating.

Had lunch at this restaurant, and overall, it was an average experience. The meals were normal, but the varal curry and chicken biryani were disappointing. The chicken was not cooked well, and it seemed like they prepared the rice and curry separately before serving them together. Soups and salads were just okay. The pricing is high compared to the food quality, and the waiting time after ordering was quite long. On the positive side, the ambiance was nice, and the service was decent. Other facilities: Good parking facility available at the back. Restroom issues - No tissue paper at the hand wash area, and the hand dryer was not working when I visited. Food quality and maintenance need improvement!

Great ambiance, perfect location, and exceptional customer service. The food menu offers a fantastic variety, and everything was delicious. One of the best hotels I've visited--highly recommended!

We had the good fortune to stay one night at the Travancore Regency and it was a wonderful experience. Special appreciation for the sumptuous dinner served and a big thank you to the Chef . Very helpful and courteous staff at the reception . I will definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends and families.

Visited restaurant with family. Very good ambience. Lot of parking area inside. Children's park is also available. Quality of food also is good. Some more care is required in taking orders. A neatly maintained restaurant. Little more attention is required in washroom area. Frequent cleaning is required.
