Palathra Heritage

In this resort, I was requested to teach yoga to Russians. I gladly took the offer. I typically charge Rs. 1200 for a single session ( 8 people). I am aware of the amount of work I put into instructing my learners. I don't impose additional fees for transportation. The distance from my house to the center was 26 km. The Guy work in here ( Alan ) he is decided to give me 1000 rupees after we negotiated. Due to a linguistic barrier--they were Russians--we had to end two session after it was finished. The man who was disputing with me over the payment, however, has not given me the money I was promised. He was incredibly haughty and conceited. I thought he purposefully refused to give me my money. It was the most worst experience for me. I suggest all of you to not choose this place.

I am big fan of Linger vacations. Though the theme of the places is "Do Nothing", it has a lot on offer.||We wanted to go to this property since long, finally got a chance in Kids summer vacation. Initially It did not feel like the right place to go for a SUMMER vacation in Kerala, but then we looked the pictures and talked to sameer and was convinced that this is the right place.||We reached there without much of trouble. The Kerala road roads are slightly notorious for it's unpredictability, but it was a fun drive, however next time around i'll be taking a train instead.||The place itself is huge and with a lot of tree cover, and cottages you stay in are Namboodari style old but very well maintained structure. The caretaker Jeetu and the cook Antony were just what you need for such kind of vacations. We were well taken care of. The kids were playing around in the huge property and they had a lot to do. They usually were hanging around with their Jeetu and Antony "Uncle". Jeetu and Antony were very happy to entertain them.||We went to beach pretty much every morning and evening, which was fun. The Beach is clean and not very crowded. We also went for walk around in the neighborhood. One day we went for the Boating the Allepy back waters, which was just amazing, the arrangements for this was done by them, and was hassle-free. In all it was an amazing experience.

As it was my first Ayurveda trip, I was looking for an authentic resort. That's why I have chosen this Particular place The atmosphere is peaceful. The rooms are just perfect! The sound of nature was most relaxing and invigorating at the same time. I will definitely go back Find yourself and heal your body, mind, and spirit in the holistic experience of Ayurveda, meditation and yoga The Treatments were great and after one week I was feeling like newborn. Finding inner balance and silenced my mind.

We were two couples who booked Linger Munroe property for 15 August 2016 extended weekend. But that property was sold out at end moment from linger so Vijay (another amazing guy) helped and suggested us to go for Mararikulam property.||We reached there from banglore by Kochuveli express and got down at Cherthala. Vijay has helped us to book a cab from Cherthala to the resort. Now this place .. We book Ettadi cottage. the cottage was wooden one and very beautiful .The bedroom was cosy beautiful. We had a smile has soon as we entered. ||Vijay is the linger guy who was there and he took care of our needs and demands.. We wanted to have fish in one if the meal atleast andVijay made it sure he gets it. We wanted food without cocunut oil and he assured the same. the place is big. Two day we had gone to allepy where we watched the snack boat race and the backwater ride.Third day we were inthe property till 6 in the eve .We rode the cycles.It rained.We even plucked a cocunut. there is an Uncle Umaapathi.He drives an auto and he took us to allepy and the beach.He is well know there and is another amazing polite person . Lena Aunty is the owner and cooks the meals for the guest.She cooks delicious food . everything was perfect for us the stay the food and the people around who took care of us. Mararikullam is not a crowded and very known place .But yes do visit this property .worth the money and the fun .

Poor massage at an exorbitant price. The masseuse offers very low pressure and higher pressure he is unable to continue for long The technique does not do anything for any specific pain points, but even general body relaxation is missing The ambience while silent, there is no aroma candles plus there are mosquitoes which will keep biting consistently If you have ever had a swedish massage from Urban clap for only 1000 Rs, that is far better than this. I'm not sure if there is anything good or authentic about Kerala massages after this experience

Myself with my extended family visited the property on December 2017. We were given a warm welcome by 'Jamy' . Abhimanyu helped us with the luggage's and even took care of my son also. They had taken over this property recently and we were one among the families who got accommodation even before the official opening. One can get a feeling of staying in an ancient 'illam' or wooden house which were used by upper class keralites. The rooms are naturally cool but air conditioning is available with added amenities and attached bath rooms. Limited number of rooms. They have named those building as eetti,chandanam, maavu and plaavu;based on the trees seen in Kerala. Dining is separate but room service is also available. Marari beach is nearby and can easily be reached in an auto or taxi. Overall a good experience.

Linger properties are one of my favorite to visit for a number of reasons, including awesome local food, friendly and helpful staff, no pressure to do anything and lots of chai!||The Mararikulam "palathra heritage" property was no different.||There are a number of rooms in the old traditional Kerala wood style(with lovely bathrooms!) houses. There are lots of places to comfortably sit and read books or generally laze.||The beach is a short auto or longish walk away, not too crowded, there were local boys playing football (NOT cricket!).||Overall we had a splendid time and can't wait to visit again..

Linger folks arranged this trip for us in lees than 12 hours. We set out on a long drive from Bangalore. What we saw after a 16 hour tiring drive from Bangalore was a Paradise. We (Including our 24 month old son) completely enjoyed the wooden house, the yummy food , the greenery and the pond . ||The staff were very very friendly and made sure that we were comfortable during our stay. The staff arranged for local sight seeing and the boat ride. ||We were treated with authentic Kerala food throughout our stay . ||All in all a fantastic vacation and we are looking forward to the next Linger destination soon.
