Mayas Beach House - Marari Beach Resorts , Alleppey

Great place to end our epic India trip (stayed 6 nights). Extremely peaceful and private place to unwind. Only four rooms and we had the upstairs room with a balcony. Sure it's a little bit tired and needs a bit of updating but it was clean and perfect for our needs.|The small pool was nice to cool off in too.||Krish (and his team) were wonderful and kind and he was a very attentive host, nothing was too much trouble. He can literally arrange anything, money exchange, food (excellent), beers, massages (great recommendation), tuktuks etc.||The location is great, 5 to 10 mins walk to the beach, turn right at the end of the lane and you'll find a long beautiful beach with sunbeds and beach shacks.||Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if we are fortunate to visit Kerala again.||Thanks Krish and your team for a very memorable end to our holiday

The hospitality provided by Kishore and team was very welcoming. The authentic Kerala breakfast prepared by the team was delicious. We had a good time with our family at the stay. Just felt like home. thank You Kishore.

This place doesn't give a commercial corporate feel. It rather gives a homely local vibe. It feels as though u r staying at a local friends house but with no intrusions. |Place is not plush but has all basic amenities. The bathroom has a open roof concept. Rest of the room is spacious and well lit. It is quiet and green and we hear sounds of birds all around. The place also has plunge pool...good for kids... about 3-3.5 feet deep. |Food is exceptional. One has to pre order the food. And it takes a bit of time to prepare. But then everything is fresh and yummilicious. We enjoyed every meal that we had. Kishore ji gave us v good suggestions and we enjoyed each bite of local menu.|Beach is nearby. We could reach in less than 5 min with kids. Beach is clean and sparsely populated. We enjoyed all lot with kids.|Overall strongly recommend this place. We stayed for a night as family friends but would have loved to stay a week

This is a very good home stay near the Mararikulam Beach. The rooms are very good and clean. The host is very accommodating and we received extremely very good service. The food was tasty. The kids enjoyed the pool and the scenic and clean Mararikulam Beach is just a 2-3 minutes walk. Will definitely recommend this to all either family or friends. Book in advance as the rooms get full.

Beware. This place has fake reviews. The rooms are not worth the price they're charging. These are maybe 3000 or 3500 / night rooms. Food is completely average. We were overcharged and left disappointed. The price of a resort (6500 per room) but the value offered doesn't match. For that price you can get an incredible buffet breakfast at a resort and rooms at a much much higher quality and size. Some details to mention: The room downstairs has an open air bathroom which means many bugs go inside. Completely impractical. Water pressure is not that good in the shower. Water heater doesn't work too well. The sink and tap are not properly fixed in both the upstairs and downstairs bathrooms. Breakfast we were given cheap white bread and processed cheese, along side one fruit, fruit juice and omelette. It's just too basic and cheap for it to be worth the price. The owner is very nice and helpful. Attentive and responsive. He is kind and booked a local boat for us too. I like him! However, the fake reviews lured us in and we feel tricked only because we expected something different. We overpaid, this is the issue. More was asked than the value which was delivered. If the price was lower OR alternatively if the value was higher to match the price then it would have been fine... The deception of it is what brings it down to 1 star for me. Deception should never be rewarded.

Very nice place with almost a private stay experience.. Comfortable stay, clean bed sheets, towels, clean bathroom.. Food was almost like home made and delicious.. Very close to the beach and the host was there to take care of every small need.

Had an amazing stay at Maya's Beach House! The property is just a minute's walk from the stunning Marari Beach, making it the perfect getaway. The house itself is lovely, well-maintained & peaceful. Kishore, the host, was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had a great experience. The food was delicious and added to the overall charm of the stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene beachside retreat.

This place is warm and friendly. We had many very interesting conversations with our host who is open minded and nice. This house is very close to the beach and very well located. We spent such a good time there and I wish we stayed for more.
