Marari Gowri Beach Villas

I had an incredible stay at Marari Gowri Beach Villas. The family is warm and welcoming, the room cozy and fully equipped with all the amenities. I felt safe and very well taken care of the whole time. The outdoor area is lovely, with a garden and patio. And most of all, the food was DELICIOUS - the best food I've had in India so far. I had two fully home cooked meals a day, with a huge variety of flavours and textures. As a vegan traveler, I could not have had a better food experience. I absolutely recommend Marari Gowri Beach Villa to anyone who wants to visit the glorious Marari Beach, which is only steps away from the Villa.

It's the perfect place to stay if you're looking for peace, quiet and the famous Indian hospitality. The rooms are spotless and the food is delicious and comforting but the best part about staying here is the family. They often went out of their way to accommodate us and were incredibly sweet. They made us feel like we were staying with family. Could not have asked for more. The location is perfect as well. It's only 300 meters from the beach and 15mins from the backwaters so you can enjoy the beach as well as the lake. There's plenty to do around and they can arrange a car for you.

The rooms are spacious and very clean. Perfect for a family for a weekend trip. Hospitality is awesome. Food was damn good tasty, you can order of your choice or local choice and they prepare it with smile. If you are a prawn lover, please try their local prawn tawa fry. Beach is just a walk away. Enough space to park your car at the location. Kids will love a lot.

Big size room, spotless clean and in a beautiful home. The family is the best part of being here. We have breakfast and lunch here everyday, since the owner Levanya is such a great cook and at affordable price. We came for 3 days and we already book for another 10.We just can't leave this place! The beach is 2 min walking distance and there a shop with everything you can need. The bus stop to Alleppey is only 2 min walking and it takes 35 min to reach the city. In conclusion, don't hesitate to book your stay in Gowri, you will feel at home. Thank you Gowri family for such a beautiful stay

We booked two rooms, each with its own entrance and private bathroom, situated in an annex of the family house. The rooms are simple yet comfortable and are equipped with air conditioning. The hospitality provided by the hostess is exceptionally warm. She is also responsible for preparing a substantial breakfast and dinner upon request. The meals are delightful. The house is conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from the stunning Marari beach. The family offers excellent recommendations for exploring and enjoying the beautiful region, including boat tours of the magnificent backwaters.

A piece of heaven in god's own country: This home stay is located on a beautiful beach between the city of Cochin and Alleppey, easily accessible by bus, train or taxi. The family is very friendly and welcoming, the house offers a serene garden and a terrace to sit on for eating, reading or working. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable, bed linen and towels are spotless as well. Location is literally three minutes from the sea front on the same side of the road as the main beach making it a child friendly location as well. What sets this home stay apart from others is the hospitality offered from the family running it, well made, sumptuous and generous breakfast is served, fresh fruits, tea, coffee and water available as well. I can also very much recommend to eat a home cooked meal there for dinner. I will be coming back more than once for sure, excellent value for money on Marari beach.

Lovely homestay so near the quiet side of Marari beach. Rooms are so clean and well maintained, there is private bathroom with hot water 24 hrs. There is fan and AC also. Bed is very comfortable perfect for a good rest. Homestay is faraway from main road so there is no traffic noise at all. I recommend to take breakfast and dinner in the homestay cause it very healthy, it's not oily and hot food at all. It's home food! And the price is very convenient. Laiju, the owner have a tourist car so he can pick you up from Ernakulam airport or drive you wherever you want. He and his family are very nice hosts. I came for 3 days but stayed 12 days finally. Very hard to leave! 100 % recommended.
