MARARI BEACH PALACE

We stayed 4 nights and we enjoyed very much. The hotel ressort has a very beautiful big garden, a quite area, nice green landscape with coconut trees and birds around you. The rooms are very comfortable, the swimming pool is big so you can really swim, relax and enjoy the landscape around you. All the personal ATS staff, including Selma and Pravitha, are very friendly and helpful, great team, especially when you need help or have a problem to sort out. They are committed to help and give assistance. The food is excellent, whether at breakfast, dinner or with typical Kerala snacks during the day. We have seen at the hotel a Ottan Thullal performance which was fantastic - we recommend to see it during your stay! The beach is very close distance by walk, and you will find a clean long white sand beach (good for walk), warm blue water, all surrounded by a tropical green landscape with coconut trees and places to rent sunbed and parasol. With a 10 minutes TukTuk drive you reach the art gallery Sylviander dedicated to the German artist Sylvia Bantle and run by his husband Alexander. Nice and interesting place to visit and talk with Alexander. Close to the hotel are just few local simple shops, restaurants and good Ayurveda-Yoga Centers. We did 3 days yoga and Ayuverda at Chullithayil Treatment Center with Dr. Ajitha, which was recommended by the hotel manager and was very good, just 10 minutes walk from the hotel. All in it was a unforgettable stay and we appreciated very much. We can recommend!

I had high expectations for this hotel, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to them. The property is vast and beautiful, but it felt understaffed, with only two staff members managing a 100-acre space. The food was a huge disappointment - we found chicken in our vegetable noodles, which we didn't mind as non-vegetarians, but for vegetarians, this could be a major issue. The taste of the food was average at best and more filling than flavorful. The Kerala Paratha was cold, likely from being stored for a while. Breakfast was served at 8:30 AM, which isn't ideal for those catching early flights. There was no water in the rooms, and even towels at the pool were missing, forcing us to ask for them. For the price, the experience was definitely not worth it. Would not recommend if you're looking for value for money.

This property is huge and good. Cottage rooms are huge and maintained well. Swimming pool is good but it is same height children who don't know swimming can't enjoy. This place is severely understaffed and looks dull. Complimentary breakfast is not good. Only couple of dishes both are not good.

Stayed here for 3 nights for our family reunion. We were 12 people and the staff are extremely polite and helpful. Everything went very smoothly for us. We mostly ate only Kerala style food which was quite good. The pool was a highlight for us as the days were very hot and it offered much respite. Overall it was an excellent holiday, I would come back again and recommend it to others.

It is lovely family hotel I would recommend everyone. If you want to feel real kerala vibes this is exactly what you need. Beautiful yard, local style house and comfortable rooms, home made best Local food & not only. You can order food anytime and even can have it in room or on wonderful terrace. I am glad I got lucky and found this beautiful place. Quiet, charming, lush, warm hospitality and great food and 5 mins walk to beach.

I must say, this was one of the amazing stays we had in Kerala. The location is amazing, beach is walkable, rooms were spacious, had all the toiletries and feel cozy. The property is huge and has Kerala style cottages of 2 to 3 rooms. The staff is polite, friendly and supports you very well during your stay. I feel the food could be improved in terms of taste but the breakfast spread is okay.

The property is lovely, it's got the old Kerala style home feel to it, the rooms are large and airy. However we had a problem with getting hot water in the bathrooms. Since we were holidaying with elderly people, this did cause inconvenience. Apart from this, the property is beautiful and the stay was very comfortable. The service is good, the staff are friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and well made, lots of tasty options for vegetarians. You have to ask specifically for table cutlery though. The location is excellent, the beach is just a 5 minute walk. And lots of places of tourist interest that's within driving distance.

Marari Beach Palace in Alleppey is a peaceful, quiet hotel with a unique forest-like setting. The food is delicious, and the rooms are clean and spacious, offering a comfortable stay. It's just 500 meters from the beach, which is a major plus. However, the hotel has a few downsides. It's not a typical resort--it has only a few rooms, spread far apart, with minimal staff who are dressed in casual attire, which may not appeal to everyone. The pool area also needs improvement, as it lacked towels, chairs, and had issues with mosquitoes and plant waste (feedback shared with the staff). While it's good for a quiet getaway, these aspects might be a dealbreaker for some.
