Marari Beach House

Very lovely choice for Marari Beach. The rooms and the property are very very well maintained. Everything was super clean and the host and his family are very friendly, polite and took very good care of us. The room has hot shower and AC. They also offer laundry service which was THE BEST When you first arrive, google maps is a little confusing: the first time you can enter through the gate of "Marari Beach Villas". Marari Beach House is on the same property but on the back side. After check in they will show you their proper entrance and exit. It's a 2 minute walk from the beach and perfectly located to enjoy the beach AND having some time out away from the heat. The garden and surrounding of the room are blooming and you can relax in the hammocks. It's like a little beautiful jungle. (Bring mosquito repellent for sunrise and sunset time ;-)) They also provide breakfast and dinner. The breakfast option is VERY convenient, bc the restaurants and shops here open a bit later (around 11:00). It's perfect for a quick visit or a long term stay. We loved our stay!

Stay is very close to beach, but there weren't many people during the night time. Rooms are value for money and the food is good. However there is extra charge for extra mattress which is not mentioned clearly in the thrid party booking sites.

Really nice place to visit in India. Clean, friendly hosts with their nice children. Calm place. Clean air. If you need to take rest, come here and buy fruits from nearby shops! I looked at other reviews and I see some that appear to be about some other place. Actually I post this review for the second time because there are a few places next to each other here with similar names. And google suggested me to review another one. So my guess is that they got confused and posted bad reviews here. While others were confused and added good reviews elsewhere. This is the right place, I have double checked with the owner.

really cute homestay. warm welcome that included help with our bags. room was generally clean, good bathroom with hot water, ac was working perfectly. we had a nice dinner and breakfast at this homestay. bedding was not super clean, but for this price you can't complain. close to the beach, unfortunately as it is july most restaurants and food stalls were closed.

Pros: Calm surroundings and decent ambience . Good bathroom Beach 500m from the property.||Cons: Cheap bed sheets and hard uncomfortable mattresses with damp smelling rooms and insects. Very dusty lights and fixtures. No hot water option for shower and only 1 single thin shower towel for 2 persons. Shame!| Would not recommend.

I was worried after seeing the 2 most recent reviews were bad. The room was fine for the price and did have a musty smell. Beds were standard good aircon. Hot water just took a while to come. Owner was very nice, his mum prepared me a great veg meal for dinner 250 inr which was huge could only eat half and good breakfast. Don't know what they were complaining about really enjoyed my stay

Worst stay ever. This a homestay that gives shady vibes, the rooms are small with bulbs, dirty bed sheets, hard beds and with lots of insects and smelly washroom. NO FOOD AVAILABLE. the owner is the worst human being ever. With 0 humanity, rude behavior and 0 hospitality. Do not stay here. We booked it by the reviews but do not go with the review, worst stay. They only provide number of a restaurant from where you have to buy the food which is tge only food option. Do not stay at this place.
