Marari Beach Bungalow

We were staying at Joseph's place in Feb'24. Absolutely amazing place. Full of beautiful surprises every day all day. Most professional crew working there able to not only help you but go beyond your expectations. Delicious food, magnoficent surroundings, dream empty beach where you can go using free bicycle from reception desk, tiny but luxurious shop with all you need here nearby, plenty of places to visit within walking distance, the gardens, the pool, the candles in the evening... and the list goes on :) Incredible help from Joseph personally with the bag lost at the airport. We will never forget this beautiful days with you folks and we will come back ASAP. M&A

The house is beautiful and an oasis of peace in the busy Kerala countryside. The staff is great and you can see it's a good place to work! The chef is super and we ate there every night. We had a lot of help from the staff to arrange things to do so everything went very smoothly.

This place is utterly incredible and blew us away. The building itself is magical - an old coir factory with so much beauty. The rooms are so beautiful and so clean - have thought everything - the outside balcony is a wonderful place to chill and relax. The service was exceptional and the food delicious (fresh and authentic). It is a short walk from the beach which is lovely but there is something so special about the grounds and the building that you don't really want to go anywhere! Lots to do when you do decide to venture out. I couldn't recommend it enough - it is far better than any of the pictures - which says a lot!

Best place to stay on Marari beach.||Stunning hotel set in a beautifully restored old coir factory. high ceilings , gorgeous interior design, big airy rooms with lovely balconies and bathrooms. Even better than the photos. The gardens and pool area are lush and beautiful too. Feels like an oasis to return to after forays out in to the local area.||The staff, Jasmine, Ramesh, Lipin et al were so friendly and helpful - top stay of our time in Kerala. Highly recommend the food and drinks in the hotel too - especially the prawn and papaya curry and the cardamom lassi.||Better value and more beautiful than the Marari beach resort.

It's a lovely hotel that's impeccably clean! The staff are delightful--friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The food was delicious. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The pool and garden area are clean and relaxing. Plus, the hotel is just a short and easy walk to the beach, making it the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. I would highly recommend 5/5

Beautifully well kept place surrounded by amazing natural plants and trees, and a lovely swimming pool. Gorgeous interiors. An old world charm. The best service ever by Jasmine, Libin, and each and every employee- very attentive, courteous and cheerful. Good food. Beach is a 5 minute walk away.

What an incredible place! I stayed only one night here, on a spontaneous decision, and wish I could have stayed longer. I arrived to a cool, peaceful environment with gentle music and beautiful smells in the air. I was met by Jasmine and Lakshmi, who gave me something to drink and told me all about the place. I was shown to my spectacular room, which was tastefully and gorgeously decorated, and kitted out with homemade Ayurvedic toiletries. I spent all afternoon in the pool, sitting on a little ledge drinking lime sodas and reading my book - absolute bliss!!! And after coming home from a massage, I had a night swim and a delicious meal. I was so sad to leave and will be back as soon as I can! A big thank you to the owner Joseph for suggesting this visit and arranging a sunrise backwaters tour, and to the incredible Marari Beach Bungalow staff for making my stay happy and comfortable.

Marari Beach Bungalow is the perfect location for a tranquil and relaxing break at Marari Beach in Kerala. We spent five nights here, splitting our time between relaxing by the pool and going to the beach, just 10 minutes from the hotel. Both beautiful. |Lakshmi, Jasmine, Libin and the team looked after us really well, ensuring anything we needed was arranged without fuss or delay - yoga, massage, backwater trip, whatever we wanted. |Breakfast was huge and good, fresh fruit, toast, Keralan breakfast items. Dinner was good too and there are also good beach cafes and restaurants for great fish and veg dishes. |Room was beautiful and clean with good AC. Gardens and pool, fabulous.|We were sorry to leave!
