Marari Beach a CGH Earth Experience

Spent 4 days here at end of holiday. Great place to chill and relax by pool. Rooms very very nice. Restaurants are great - lots of choice. We loved the fresh fish and Beach bar. Nice beer and good wine reasonably priced. Everything clean and well maintained. Staff amazing. Not much to do outside. Beach filthy full of rubbish and lots of dogs but security tight. A/C in room fixed so still too warm at night. Great on site wildlife - loved the owl sight seeing safari!. Spent most time at lovely pool.

Mararikulam, a quiet little fishing village on Kerala's coast, is the perfect escape if you're after a peaceful beach holiday, and CGH Mararikulam fits right in. After a fantastic few nights at CGH Coconut Lagoon in Kumarakom, we arrived with high hopes. But our time at Mararikulam wasn't just good - it was even better than we expected.||The staff here are truly something special. From the moment we checked in to the housekeeping, the restaurant team, the beach security, and even the lovely lady who showed us the fish feeding, everyone was so genuinely kind and helpful. They really went out of their way to make us feel at home.||The beach itself is clean and a pleasure to spend time on. The food was always fresh and really highlighted the local flavors, which was great. Our room was really comfortable, and having our own private pool that was sparkling clean was a real treat.||Honestly, our whole experience was excellent. We can't wait to go back, and next time, we'll definitely be staying longer.

We stayed 4 nights at the Marari Beach at the end of our Southern India tour. We enjoyed our stay from start to finish. Our room was a garden villa and we really liked it. Big comfortable bed, sitting area, well cooled by efficient air con and an interesting outside bathroom. The pool was clean and felt fresh to swim in. We had no issues getting beds every day and you can order drinks and snacks to be brought to where you are sitting/lying. Breakfast was a buffet which was excellent with lots of choice. For evening meals we we a la carte and enjoyed every meal. The owl parliament tour was very interesting please do it, archery was fun and the 4pm tea cart was very welcome. We did a free bicycle ride around the local area which was fun. Overall a relaxing end to a busy holiday and we would recommend.

We stayed at CGH Marari Beach for 3 nights after a fantastic stay with CGH's houseboat, but unfortunately this property didn't live up to expectations.||The natural surroundings are beautiful, but the service, cleanliness, and overall hospitality were far below what you'd expect from a 5-star hotel charging EU400 per night. The staff felt unengaged, the rooms lacked attention to detail, and basic amenities were not replenished unless requested multiple times. No turndown service, no pool/beach support, and visible signs of wear throughout the property.||While we appreciated a complimentary dinner and had kind interactions with a few team members, the experience was overall disappointing -- especially compared to other 5-star hotels we stayed at during our India trip, all of which were priced lower and delivered outstanding service.||We hope CGH Earth can bring this property back in line with the standard the brand is known for.

Having stayed at a couple of other CGH earth resorts during our stay, this resort looked a little tired in comparison. The ground were large which we appreciate takes a bit more maintenance. Our room with a pool however was lovely, our own little bit of luxury and privacy. |The hotels part of the beach has been tidied as the rest of the beach has alot of rubbish but it is not set up for people relaxing on the beach with limited sunbeds and no umbrellas.|The owl watching with the naturalist was amazing and the butterfly garden was beautiful.|We were very impressed with the restaurant of all the hotels it was the best for atmosphere and organisation with staff greeting you as you arrived and very attentive. The food was excellent too.|Thank you for making our wedding anniversary very special.

Fantastic resort. Perfect hotel to unwind and relax. Our garden villa was beautiful and spotless. Beautiful pool and fantastic a la carte and buffet restaurants. The food was superb.The staff are so friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. We were sad to leave. I highly recommend it.

Really nice place for a vacation staff was very helpful, nice, friendly and polite. One of my family member had some health issues and all the staff came and asked if we were ok or needed any help. One of the best parts is that it has the beach entrance for the resort only. The pool is nice, food is good(would recommend going to their pizzeria) and had many activities so even if u forget go outside the resort u will be busy with all the activities they give(all for free)
