Abad Turtle Beach | Beach Resort Marari Alleppey

We stayed here for three days, but honestly, one day would have been enough. The place is peaceful and a nice escape from the stress of daily life, which we appreciated. However, the resort could use better maintenance and definitely more activities to keep guests engaged. Aside from the swimming pool and a private beach, there isn't much else to do--no recreational area or indoor games. If you're looking to relax and disconnect, it's a decent option, but for a longer stay, it might feel a bit too boring.

This was a lovely place to stay. The setting is gorgeous with rooms in pairs dotted around the beautifully kept grounds. There is an abundance of trees, shrubs and flowers and plenty of birds and butterflies to see. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent with a choice of buffet and a la carte at every meal. The resort has its own ayurvedic treatment centre and a butterfly garden. The beach is very close by, but for those who don't fancy a swim in the sea, the resort's pool is a very good one. I'd love to go back.

One of the best resorts I've stayed at! It's peaceful, serene and relaxing. The staff are really welcoming and courteous, always willing to help and doing their best in keeping the surroundings clean. The rooms are spacious and clean, not many amenities within the room, but that's fine! The landscape and overall layout of the resort is so calming, the greenery and the quiet, you can hear the waves of the ocean(in the room we stayed at) the beach is kept clean and very accessible from the resort. The pool was lovely, perfect for kids & adults. The food is really good, and the room service is efficient my children loved the pasta! Food is clean and none of us got sick- thank god. However just one suggestion there really needs to be more fans/ac in the dining area as it's really hot during lunch time. But overall we had a lovely vacation and can't wait to come back! Thank you to the entire staff and everyone doing such a wonderful job.

The staff were amazing so friendly and helpful. Wonderful ayurvedic treatments with really skilled therapists. Food at the restaurant was delicious with a wide a la carte menu. Room service efficient. Gorgeous sunsets on the beach at the hotel. We stayed in one of the villas with a private pool which was really private and tranquil. Overall good resort. 30 mins drive from alappey bypass end towards kochi. 6.9k for beach cottage basic room Private beach was good. Kids park was good Cycle is there. Lots of area to walk. Calm and green surroundings Pool available till 7pm Good for family with kids. Ok for guys get together, great if cost is not an issue.

Our stay at Abad was very pleasant experience. The staff were very helpful and took special care in addressing our needs and concerns be it in restaurant, pool area and even in the play area. beach area as well.This is our second time with Abad and again they proved its definitely worth it. I suggest this one as a family friendly resort to all those searching for one. Thank you Abad for your hospitality.
