Vanatheeram Resort is a peaceful retreat nested close to a tiger reserve, it's a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. My family and I had the pleasure of staying here during my visit to India. Located away from the city, the resort is a surrounded by nature and the sounds of wildlife, they have some swings all around the property for kids. This is an ideal destination for those looking to unwind and relax. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the food. The resort has an in-house chef whose is good. I would highly recommend dining in, as the meals served were absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. It was clear that the chef takes great pride in his work. We visited during New Year's, and the weather was perfect for a peaceful getaway. During the day, it was pleasantly warm, but the nights did get quite chilly, so be sure to pack accordingly. While there isn't much to do in terms of activities nearby, the seclusion of the resort offers the perfect setting for relaxation. We even had the rare experience of spotting some elephants nearby, which added a touch of excitement to our stay. One of the owners we met during our visit was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and respectful. His warm hospitality made our stay even more memorable. Overall, Vanatheeram Resort is an ideal spot for anyone looking to disconnect from the world and enjoy some quality time in nature. It was truly a rejuvenating experience. The only downside is the approach road to the property is bad and narrow.

"Great place for a break" The stay is beautiful. Although there is no air-conditioning, it is rarely required in December when the weather is great. The food they provide is amazing and reasonable and a short hike away is a great stream for taking bath in.

Good resort with decent food and services. Beautiful location. If you want to stay away from pollution and city life for few days, then pick this place.

Wonderful experience during our overnight stay here last week. Owner Mr Prakashan is a kind and helpful host. Food, service ambience, surroundings, elevated room, bonfire everything was too good. Chef Special Autograph dish was mouth watering. Overall very nice experience.

The accomodation was good but the staff were even better. The cook was brilliant. I honestly preferred eating in as much as possible. There's a lovely little river, to take a dip, a short walk away from the property.

Even though it was a short stay, when I left from there to coorg, my mind was still pulling me back to that place. Literally, you are in the forest. Wild elephants, herd of deer, all comes near to you. Enjoyed the dinner, was delicious. Rooms are good enough for a family.Recommend for people who wanted to enjoy the calmness and beauty of nature.

Very nice place to be with family or friends, location covered with full greenary and forest area tou can spot deers elephants wild dogs and rarely tigers in this place. Had a great time with Mr.Prakasan he is very humble and friendly person, looking forward to visit again after monsoon
