Great ambience. Very well done with nice decor. Clean and hygienic. Temperature, music, seating, hand-wash all in great condition. Staff and service were great too. The food was amazing! Loved the food.mandhi,peri peri alfam , chicken biryani,ghee rice, meals- everything was delicious! Full of flavour and good portion size. I enjoyed it

Bought chicken masala via Swiggy past week and received spoiled curry. To cover up the same, lot of oil and masala were added. Could see bubbles coming out on opening the box, being spoilt, and absolutely smelly and disgusting. Never ordering from here ever again. Will report this incident as well.

We only stopped by for lunch, and went for the afternoon meals. Food was good and we bought side of fried fish. Which was also mentionably good. Would definitely visit again

Seriously very good place.... Food is amazing.very crowdy place.10 -15 minutes of time will take to get a table. Peri peri mandhi was very good in taste.Fast service ambience was good..must and should you should try mutton Rost and chicken kondattam Biryani.. if you visit shan hotel .. They accept all cards..(cashless Transaction facility available)

While my family & I have had food from Shan hotel several times before, recently I had food poisoning [including severe vomiting] due to the chicken Al Faham we had ordered.

Food is so tasty and available at affordable prices. The hotel is very clean and maintains good hygiene all the time.

I recently dined at this restaurant and found the prices to be exorbitant given the quality of the food. The rice and Al Faham (grilled chicken) were not served warm; the rice seemed like it was from earlier in the day, and the Al Faham was served within two minutes, which suggests it had been pre-cooked and kept in a hot oven for too long. Before ordering, I strongly recommend checking the prices, as the food doesn't justify the cost. For instance, the Karik shake was priced at 90, and the Al Faham at 600, which seems highly unreasonable for a small town like Kayamkulam. I would also advise caution when ordering dishes like Mandi and Al Faham in the evening, as the food may not be fresh. While the service was fine, the overall experience did not justify the high prices.

Ordered a peri peri alfam.. and i recieved a chicken leg with raw masala spread.. not at all good.. also suffering from mouth ulcer post not sure if it's their alfam
