Valiyavila Golden Lake Resort

Conducted a wedding event here and the space is beautiful and good enough to hold upto 200 people comfortable. One grouse is that the place doesn't have enough safety measures for all the steps and elevation changes everywhere. Impossible to let children out of sight for even a second and even adults will find it dangerous in places...

A property at a vantage point could be one of the best resorts at Kollam. Owners need to invest and carry out necessary upkeep of this place to make it memorable for tourists. Being a place at such a great location will be gobbled by powerful moneybag sharks soon if neglected. We enjoyed a memorable stay here though the features and facilities were wanting to be of high levels. Reasonably good roads leading to this place are available on Google maps.

This resort is located on the Ashtamudi Lake shore. All the three sides of this resort is surrounded by lake. You might not need a fan here. Strong wind blows 24 hours. We spend a few hours here. Not a luxury place. Only natural beauty. The food was ok. I don't want to comment about the service. There is a huge statue of a naked lady holding a lamp on the resort premises. This statue is best visible from a boat on the lake. Reaching the location is a task .

It's is a good resort. It is surrounded by the back water. So it is having awesome view. You can see the boat is passing through there. It is having lots of space that you can utilised for your activity's. The rooms are good and having lots of space. They kept the rooms clean and neat. You can afford that on a moderate cost.

Located in the beautiful Astamudi Mangrove Lake, it is simply amazing for vacations with the beautiful sunlight and windy waters and houseboats surrounded by beautiful greenery and lots of sea food.

The resort is very scenic lying in the middle of a lake. The cleanliness is average and needs better maintenance. The rooms are large and spacious. The food is not tasty and serving is not at all professional.

The resort was cool and ambience was killing. The resort is surrounded by water. The villakama statue was amazing. The room was super and cool . The river view from the room was nice. This place is good for a get together and for bachelors party . This is not suitable for couples( its my suggestion). The resort can be easily acceble through bypass. The resort has very large space for parking.

Very good ambience and the rooms were maintained well... But the service was little bit discouraging... Location is also awesome.. placed rightly in a peninsula in ashttamudi lake ..
