Ripples backwater Resort

Wonderful experience during our stay. Peaceful place excellent for relaxation. BBQ dinner was a wonderful experience. Good south indian breakfast. Staff was very supportive with all the informations you require on your holiday at kollam.

I would be more than happy to give this resort 4 stars because of the lake view, spacious exterior, and good enough rooms, but after what we went through after booking the whole property for one night I would give 0 stars of possible. It was day before my brothers wedding and we booked several resorts for our guests and unfortunately ripples was one of them. When we visited them for booking the guy at the offcie was well behaved and welcoming, thus we went on with the booking. On the next day while we were at the church amidst the wedding ceremony, the owner called us and started yelling to pay up, he told us the guest broke a plate and have to pay for that too, my brother agreed and said we'll pay evening or tomorrow directly at the office as our house is nearby the resort. This man started to show his real colors and continued to call him over and over while we were busy with the wedding. After that headache when we asked for the bill , he refused to give us one and said once we pay then he will prepare the bill, Like who pays without seeing a bill and such a huge amount. I'm not gonna stretch it out as you guys might have had a brief idea of what it was. If you are lucky you will be able to have a great time there if that one particular owner guy is not dealing with you.

Good property with good ambience. Courtful staff . Excellent space to host functions and gatherings. We came to attend a function and stayed here itself was a wonderful experience . Wonder view of ashtamidi lake from the whole property. Totally good experience

I booked 4 rooms for my guests, and while the rooms and surroundings were decent, the experience was a complete disaster due to the owner's unprofessional and unethical behavior. At night, two plates were damaged--though it was unclear whether it was our fault--but we still agreed to pay. Instead of handling the matter professionally, the owner refused to provide a bill, demanded an arbitrary amount, and even threatened my guests, saying they could not leave the property without paying.||The harassment didn't stop there. On the morning of my function, he repeatedly interrupted and pressured me to make the payment immediately. I informed him that I would settle the amount in the evening at the office, but he continued to be extremely rude and persistent. Later that evening, I personally went to the property and paid the amount he had demanded--yet he still refused to provide a bill until the next day. When he finally issued the bill, the amount was higher than what he originally stated, despite having already taken an advance payment.||This man is a scammer who preys on guests and extorts money in the most unprofessional way possible.||My guests were deeply upset, and I was absolutely ashamed that I had booked this place for them.||STAY AWAY unless you want to be cheated, harassed, and treated like garbage.

My family recently stayed at this Resort, and it was a fantastic experience! The location was breathtaking, with stunning views from my room. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. We also enjoyed the diverse dining options, from fresh seafood to local cuisine, all expertly prepared. Overall, this Resort exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to return!
