The Terrace Business Hotel by LADDER, Calicut

The worst hotel ever. We checked in at 4AM, The receptionist abinay gave us a room key. The room he gave us is full of smoke smell we couldn't stand there for a minute and he gave a replacement room. AC was not working properly raised an complaint still no response from that irresponsible receptionist. His attitude of responsing to the issue is intolerance to us. We fed up raising a complaint through call again and again. While checking out he is simply saying that he is not responsible for the issue. Then why the hell he is representing the hotel in the front. This hotel is not even worth for 1 star. Even water heater was not working properly.

Good location and the good ends there, checked in late (which I had informed prior) yet the service of the receptionist was unacceptably rude, he damaged my passports? And about the rooms I booked standard cus that was available and the rooms are quite tiny and the beds are mediocre at best, cleanliness is subpar. Everything about this hotel and rooms screams mismanagement and poor maintenance. You might as well spend your money elsewhere.

I booked an AC king size bed room, but they provided 2 single bed room, while sleeping the bed moved from the position and I slept in the empty space in-between the beds . Also at night the AC was automatically stopped. To much hot in the room.

Saw a lot of bad reviews but it was a really pleasant stay here. The first room they gave me was bad but gave a replacement room in the same exact floor that too within 10minutes. Gave a 1 hour early checkin too. Hot water is available throughout the day. Air conditioning was fine. Overall a good affordable stay option.

Terrace by Ladder, Kozhikode - A great stay I had a great stay at the Terrace by Ladder, located in the heart of Kozhikode city, near the railway station. Not only are all the amenities of city life close by, but the hotel's peaceful atmosphere and cleanliness were also a highlight. The rooms are spacious and equipped with modern amenities. The beds are clean and comfortable and the interior is nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooftop terrace of the hotel is very beautiful and you can spend some time there in the evenings. Although hotels in the city center usually feel crowded, there is a good comfort and tranquility here. Overall, this hotel is a great choice for those who want good accommodation at a low cost.

Very bad front desk service, they react badly when we call for room service. We requested service in the morning and done in the evening. (Landphone not working for service, No AC remote key to adjust or turn off) Totally worst experience with front desk, rude behaviour to customers.

"Service is extremely poor. No hot water was available. Before booking a room, please ensure that everything is in order. Room hygiene was also subpar, and the bathroom exhaust fan was not working effectively. To make matters worse, the rates are exorbitantly high, making this hotel not worth the investment.

Such an idiotic receptionist(evening shift male) i ever seen in my life. He doesn't know the basic knowledge and basic manner especially the guest service. I never recommend anyone I asked the receptionist for an international socket, but he refused. There is no power in the room, and I had to search for the power switch using my mobile phone light. Additionally, there is no room service. To the owner: Please provide appropriate training sessions for your staff. If training has already been conducted, consider terminating employees who lack competence, as they tarnish the goodwill of the business.
