Great ambiance. Excellent pool. Supportive staff. Room is neat and clean. |Reasonable pricing. Enough parking space.|Great for family stay. Kids will enjoy the pool.|Breakfast had many options to choose from. |The building is getting old and that calls for some makeup on the exteriors.

Location - close proximity to beach ,roughly 2 km to town centre .. Property - good reception area , feels like an old property but it didn't affect us.. Rooms spacious for 3 adults .Minimal toiletries noted. Pool - superb , enjoyed very well Breakfast was delicious with great spread .. [As read in many other reviews - old lift ( not a problem ), key card issue ( worked well for us ) , and no stinking smell in our room .] Overall relaxed stay and Value for money ..

Had a great time at Taj with family. The best part was the happy vibe by all staff. Professional yet very warm. The ayurvedic massages we took was also top notch and the left us feeling so relaxed. Breakfast food spread was also top notch and wide spread. Happy that we choose Taj. I am giving a 9 only because I felt the infrastructure could improvise.

The rooms were dirty. I changed 2 times my room. Then third time also same quality room received. In one room, shattaff was connected to washbasin pipe. I dont know how they are 5 star hotel. Not maintained. Paints were falling down. Bad smell were coming from wash room.

The place is ancient, but not vintage or heritage - just old and dire need of renovation. It's a sort of a cold building - lack character or anything distinct to register as unique. But hospitality is good, food excellent and the chef amazingly eager to make dining special, especially if you have specific needs - we are vegan and they took exceptional care.
