STAR ROOMS

My cousin took the room when my father was admitted to the medical college. The room isn't tidy enough and doesn't look impressive.

My stay at Star lodge home was very horrible, and I would not recommend to anyone to stay in this hotel. I made full payment before reaching this hotel. so when I came for check in,the staff couldn't find my booking and they waited me without any reason for least 20 minutes. Second thing is these hotel staff are 90s peoples and they are still leaving with 90s concept. While I am checking in these peoples asked me a lot of questions like are you single, married or unmarried, whether any girl will come and so on so many stupid questions and wasted my time again and i feel so awkward. The biggest thing is this peoples doesn't like the food which we ordered from outside to bring in our room. I literally hear the conversation between the staff that I am bringing food and water from outside. Then talking about the room, the room is below average. The very old table with poor hygiene is kept. second thing is they are claiming that we have Wi-Fi and while using that Wi-Fi, we are not able to download even a single file because the speed was that must low . Additionally most of the time electricity is also not there so using so AC in this hot climate is not possible I paid for this hotel is Rs.1536 and I don't feel this is that much worthy just because last time I used to stay La Mer in hotel the town of Calicut which is at the price of thousand rupees and how highly maintained clean rooms with better facilities like a 4 Star hotel. Also even for Rs.999 there are so many Oyo rooms available even with better facilities. I'm a doctor and I used to stay a lot of hotels, including 3 star , 4 star and 5 star in different countries and cities. and this is my first time experiencing to phase a lot of unnecessary questions during my check in .

Bad service and rude attitude from the reception staff.

Very affordable place to stay for bachelors. Just opposite to Kozhikode medical college, this place is very comfortable for a couple of days stay. Rooms are not very clean. Has a lot of mosquitoes and even I found some bed bugs in my small room that costs only Rs.300 per night. Toilet is fine. I guess, other costlier rooms would be more neat and clean. This place is open 24 hours and thus very convenient. WiFi facility is currently not working. For payments, you may use cash or UPI. Water is available always for your basic needs but it kinda made my hair frizzy and dry! P.S: Unmarried couples are not allowed here.

The owner will ask you for more than double as caution deposit. And he will refuse to pay back the remaining amount.. He is a localite here he will threaten you if you ask the remining amount.. Rooms are exceptionally dirty and filled with mosquitos.. Fan speed will not be sufficent to move your hair.. At the time of taking room he will say the room is for 24 hours.. If we took 24 hours he will say like the rooms are for 23 hours so we will not pay back the remaining amount.. I paid 1500 for 700 rupees room and stayed exactly for 23.5 hours... And he returned me just 200... Nwver trust this service

Not bad worth money rooms and allso getting hot water

Waste, also the staff there is an arrogant guy,unclean of bedsheets etc
