Mount Stratus Resort Vayalada

We had a wonderful stay at Mount Stratus Resort! The scenic view was absolutely breathtaking -- nestled right in the middle of tall mountains, it felt like a perfect escape into nature. We stayed in the Valley View Cottage, and it was definitely worth the price for the stunning view we got to wake up to every morning. The pool was a great spot to unwind, and it was never too crowded, which made the experience even more relaxing. The rooms were neat, the bathroom was clean and well-maintained, and we felt well taken care of throughout our stay -- the service was attentive and friendly. Overall, it was exactly what we hoped for: peaceful, relaxing, and rejuvenating. A couple of minor downsides -- a few parts of the property are still under construction, which slightly affected the overall vibe. And while the food was okay, we had high expectations as Kozhikode cuisine is known for its flavors, so it didn't quite match up. Still, Mount Stratus is a beautiful place with lots of potential, and we'd definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a tranquil mountain getaway.

The scenic one-hour drive culminated in a slightly challenging final ascent, expertly handled by the resort staff. We were warmly welcomed with refreshing drinks and shown to our spacious Valley View rooms, boasting stunning views through glass walls. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though a separate wet/dry area in the bathroom would be a plus. The made-to-order food was consistently delicious, and the staff were incredibly courteous and prompt, even adding a touch of fun to the service. The clean and well-maintained pool was a highlight, with towels readily available. Every detail seemed to be thoughtfully considered. The complimentary breakfast was a sumptuous spread with a variety of tasty options. The staff even accompanied us downhill upon departure, showcasing their exceptional hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay and are already planning our return to Mount Stratus Resort!

My overall experience at Mount Stratus Resort was good, but there are a few areas that need improvement. The pool was a major letdown--it's very shallow, more like a kids' or display pool, and the maintenance wasn't up to the mark. The showers in both the pool area and the so-called premium room had issues, which was disappointing. The view from the balcony wasn't as great as expected. On the positive side, the staff were courteous and provided good service, which I really appreciate. The complimentary breakfast was okay, but nothing special. Also, the road leading to the resort needs better maintenance, as it can be challenging for regular visitors. With some improvements in these areas, this place could offer a much better experience!

Amazing place, goods rooms and a wonderful view plus the staff are really nice and super tasty food. The view was amazing and the pools are good and large. Some difficulties while entering the place but its a good place to stay with families we had a great time at our stay.

Excellent stay, food was well made and homely. Staffs are amazing! They considered our requests and even managed to pull up a surprise birthday cake and decoration for me in such short time with my parents and brothers request.
