A fine new property located right at the city center and close to Railway Station and major attractions like Tali Mahadeva temple. The room was spacious and well furnished. Bathroom and accessories were good with the cleanliness level worth special mention. There was however a 'cigarette smoke-like' smell at times in the room - not sure of the source. The property does not have a restaurant but provides a buffet breakfast with all the essentials for an Indian taste. The food was definitely worth the price paid. One negative was the service. It could have been better at both the restaurant and front reception desk. Overall, a nice stay well worth the price.

The hotel is well-maintained with excellent cleanliness and a pleasant ambiance. However, the staff's professionalism needs improvement. When I inquired about the rates, their attitude made me feel as if I was asking for a free stay, which was quite off-putting. Just as asking for rates is normal, so is expecting good service. Additionally, the breakfast was very basic and unimpressive. Another issue is that even in a deluxe room, the hotel provides only minimal toiletries like shampoo and other basic necessities, which feels inadequate for the category.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at your hotel, and I was impressed with the overall experience. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, and the room boys provided exceptional service. The facilities were also well-maintained and convenient. However, I did notice that the reception staff could improve their customer service skills. Unfortunately, they often appeared unfriendly and unapproachable, which made me feel unwelcome. I believe that a warm and smiling reception can make a significant difference in creating a positive first impression. I kindly suggest that you consider providing additional training to your reception staff to enhance their customer service skills. A friendly and welcoming attitude can go a long way in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
This hotel really surprised me. It took me couple of hours to research a centrally located budget hotel with a decent rating and I finally zeroed in despite negative feedbacks. I called up the hotel and did the booking directly and they gave me a deal better than the online rate as a special case because of the number of rooms booked. I had to wait to get my room ready because we arrived early but the stay was not only comfortable but it exceeded our expectations. Clean toilets and well appointed rooms. The breakfast was a decent spread. They served hot poori and eggs as ordered. In all, it was a great experience.
The staff's behavior at that hotel leaves much to be desired; it is noticeably poor and unprofessional. They handle our bookings with a complete lack of responsibility, frequently altering room rates at their own discretion, which creates an unsettling atmosphere and undermines trust.
I stayed in this hotel for 2 days with my family. The rooms were quite alright although cleaning staff didn't show up until I specifically asked for cleaning in the front desk. Also, no water bottles were provided after the day of my arrival. Although initially we were told that we can vacate the room at 11 am, the front desk person told us at 9.30 am very rudely that we had already overstayed and we'd better vacate the room ASAP. We had a flight to catch at 3 pm, so we had to wait in the lobby for about 2 hrs. The staff in the front desk are NOT customer friendly. I beg to differ. The front desk people could have given the same information in a polite manner. They were really rude. That is the whole issue.
I recently stayed at Hotel Metro Empire in Calicut, and I found both positive and negative aspects of my experience. The hotel itself is well-maintained, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and provide a good level of comfort. The overall ambiance is pleasant, and the hotel's cleanliness standards are commendable. However, there were a couple of drawbacks that impacted my stay. First, the hotel does not have a restaurant, which I found inconvenient, as I had to make arrangements for meals elsewhere. Additionally, there is no lift access to the basement parking area. This made it difficult to access the ground floor after parking, especially if carrying luggage or traveling with elderly guests. My main concern was with the customer service. While the stay itself was nice, the staff lacked professionalism in their interactions. I observed employees gathered around the reception area, chatting, laughing, and making noise, which did not reflect a professional atmosphere. Improved customer service and a more attentive approach to guests would greatly enhance the experience. Overall, the stay was satisfactory, but there is room for improvement in terms of facilities and customer handling
I had an amazing experience at Metro Empire Hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, and my room was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities.
