I stayed here on a two day visit to Calicut with my wife. First and foremost, the smiling faces that we see at the reception upon entrance is the best part. Arathi at the reception was so charming, helpful and professional with her warm smile. This level of welcoming staff and hospitality definitely makes us want to stay here again when we are at Calicut again. Truly professional hospitality and service. Rooms are bit old, but well maintained, airconditioning was functional and in good condition. Also, the linen and pillows were fresh and comfy. Room service was also prompt and friendly. Only suggestion is it would have been great if the window glasses were also wiped, as the room had a great view to the greenery outside. Dedicated open car parking is available on both sides of the road, much away from driveway which is enough and cars are safely watched by the security staff who are also super friendly and warm. Breakfast buffet had enough options and were of good quality and taste. Family Restobar only had limited options in menu for starters, beer and rum, which may be the case for that particular day, but this can be improved. The restobar is very private and safe for women and children and has separate entrance for the guests. Overall, it was a very pleasant and calm experience in the middile of Calicut city. Amazing Stay with Honest and Helpful Staff! I recently stayed at kovilakam residency, and I must say it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the service was top-notch throughout my stay. What truly impressed me was the honesty and professionalism of the staff. I had accidentally left my gold ring behind in the room after checking out. But to my great relief, the housekeeping team found it and the front desk promptly contacted me to return it. Their honesty and prompt action truly touched me, and I'm so grateful. It's rare to come across such integrity these days. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant stay with trustworthy and caring staff. Thank you once again to the amazing team at Kovilakam !

had the pleasure of experiencing the incredible culinary skills of the chef at RetroRent, and I must say, it was an unforgettable dining experience. I stayed at Kovilakam Residency once with my wife and had a great experience. The service was excellent, and the complimentary breakfast offered a good variety of dishes. The food was tasty, with plenty of options. Since it's a bar restaurant, alcohol can be ordered to the room, which is convenient. Room service was also excellent, making the stay comfortable.

The property, services & staff are wonderful. Mr. Ravi and Ms. Arthi were very supportive during our stay. Appreciate the support provided. Highly advisable in this location. Even though the hotel is old but maintained very properly.

I stayed at kovilakam residency for three days, and it was an amazing experience. The hospitality was top-notch, with the staff going out of their way to make me feel comfortable. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, The food at their in-house restaurant was delicious. The overall ambiance was peaceful, making it a perfect getaway. Highly recommend it! And they have 24hrs check out timing which was best thing will definitely visit again!

Unfortunately, my experience was far below the expected standards of hospitality, Firstly, I found the attitude of the hotel staff, particularly the reception team, to be extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. Their rudeness and unwillingness to provide even basic services made my stay highly unpleasant. Hospitality and customer service are the cornerstones of any hotel, and the behavior I encountered was entirely unacceptable. Additionally, the quality of the rooms did not meet expectations, as they were poorly maintained and below average in terms of cleanliness and comfort. Furthermore, the food served at your establishment was of substandard quality, which further contributed to my dissatisfaction. Overall, my stay was highly disappointing. I hope you take this feedback seriously and implement necessary improvements to prevent similar experiences for future guests. I would appreciate a response addressing these concerns and the steps your management plans to take to rectify these issues.
