We had an extremely unpleasant and unsafe experience at Hotel Beverly Plaza, Calicut. We had booked a room for two people for two days, but planned to stay just one night. Because of a train delay, two of our friends needed to stay with us for a short time after midnight. When we explained this to the staff, they behaved very rudely -- shouting at us, threatening us. They did not allow our friends to enter the room and made them wait in the lobby in a very rude way. The staff could have easily asked us to pay extra or check our ID cards properly. We were ready to cooperate, but they only kept threatening us without offering any solution. As women travelers, we felt very unsafe and insulted. Only one staff member behaved politely, and we thank him for that. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a safe and good stay.

We had originally booked a room for two people for two days, although we planned to stay only one night. Due to an unexpected train delay, two additional friends needed to stay with us temporarily for about an hour after midnight. We reached the hotel around 12:00 AM after attending a wedding reception. Upon arrival, we explained the situation to the staff, but instead of understanding our genuine predicament, the staff was extremely rude, aggressive, and unprofessional. Four to five male staff members confronted us, shouted at us, and threatened us. They even accused us of potentially stealing hotel property without any justification. Two of our friends were forcefully prevented from entering the room and were made to wait in the lobby under hostile conditions. Moreover, when requesting our ID cards, the staff behaved in an extremely rude and accusatory manner, as if we were engaged in some wrongful activity. We fully understand and respect the need for security checks, but there is a way to ask for such documents politely and professionally. As guests, we were prepared to provide our IDs or pay any additional charges required. However, no alternative solutions were offered to us -- the staff simply continued to threaten us and demanded that we vacate the hotel immediately at midnight. We request that your management recognize that guests must be treated with basic respect and dignity. Every customer's background and situation should be taken into account instead of making harsh assumptions. Women, especially when traveling, deserve to feel safe and supported, not treated like criminals. Among all the staff present, only one young man displayed a polite and empathetic attitude, which we genuinely appreciated. I sincerely request that management recognize his professionalism, while taking strict action against the other staff members involved. If Hotel Beverly Plaza wishes to maintain its reputation and ensure guest safety, it must prioritize hiring service-oriented professionals who understand hospitality -- not individuals who mistreat and intimidate guests. Very bad experiance. The staff are very irresponsable. After halting, they refused to give the bill. Then they gave the bill incompletely and showed fraud. Doubt whether it is to avoid pay tax. GST department should conduct the necessary inspection.

Rooms are neat and clean, ok for a short stay, they don't offer 24 hours check out made me check out by 11 am, don't provide hot water. Rest all are ok. When I checked online through their website the rent was less , i will suggest to book through online,less compared to direct walk in.

Room service was very poor. No hot water,bed sheets were not cleaned and were old. So we bought 3 bedsheets from outside and used.

The rooms were clean, stylish and very comfortable..The staff at this hotel were helpful throughout our stay..I was very pleased with my stay and hope to be back for a longer visit in the future

Very pathetic service. Have booked room for my female colleagues, but staffs were very rude to them. Dangerous for family and women
