Literally the cleanest place to stay.. the rooms are so calm, spacious and serene. Beach is 2 mins, lighthouse is 5mins. The centre place to travel if you are in Trivandrum. Totally happy with the service and place. ..

Good hotel near the beach My air conditioner gave problems, but the owner upgraded my room for the same price. The rooms are clean and the price is very reasonable for this area The hotel has no restaurant, but there are multiple restaurants only a few minutes walk away The owner is a genuine person with an easy smile and always ready to make ones stay pleasant I'd definitely recommend this hotel if you find yourself in Kovalam beach

Literally 3 mins walk to the beach. I found this hotel on a very very very short notice, and the manager was kind enough to guide me through a quick check-in. The rooms are great with a little balcony that gives you a nice view of the tree line, clean bathrooms and linen, and small kitchen like room attached. No frills stay for people not looking for something too luxurious.

I have stayed at this establishment a number of times in the past and it is very well placed for both beaches. The rooms are very spacious with good storage facilities and roomy shower-rooms. The rooms have verandas with insect-repellent screens at windows. Lenic, the owner is a most likeable and helpful man. He can arrange, taxis, trips, backwater adventures, etc. The Cosmic is not actually a leisure resort as we know it in England but is a small, spotlessly clean and well-kept hotel where you can feel very private as there are no public areas. As a traveller who hates the staying in large complexes The Cosmic suits me very well and I will be returning.

We stayed here twice during our 60 day trip around India. The location is a few minutes walk from the beach, the accommodation comprises of three rooms in a stylish block. We stayed in the middle room first, and then the top room. The rooms are clean, spacious, and light. They are equipped with a kitchenette with a kettle, sink, accessories and a toaster. The bathrooms are quite large with constant hot water. Outside is a balcony with comfortable seats and a pleasant view. Close by there are plenty of restaurants, currency exchanges and shops galore. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. Also||Lenic, the manager is the nicest person you'll ever meet. ||Thank you Lenic for an enjoyable stay.

This is a nice place with clean standard rooms without any mumbo jumbo for a low price, and with excellent service from the staff. Especially Lenic, who's runs the place, and makes the difference by being so welcoming and helpful. It's quiet even though it's very close to the beach/seaside. It's nice that it's not at the beach front, but just behind the first row, since this gives it a bit of a more laid back and relaxing feel away from the people at the boardwalk. I travelled alone as a female traveller, and I never felt unsafe walking to and from this place - I have to say, that over all Kovalam/Kerala safe for female travelers to travel alone, so don't worry. I'll come back to stay at this place for my next visit to Kovalam - if I could be lucky enough that they have available rooms. If you consider booking this place, don't hesitate and just do it.

Cosmic Holiday Inn's manger, Lenic, is so very helpful, generous, and genuinely kind. He answered my many questions without hurry, offered me a tour of the nearby neighborhood, taught me some Malayalam, and brought me on his motorcycle to a store when I couldn't locate an item I needed one evening. He is a wonderful manager and human being.||||There are three guest suites -- each with a balcony/terrace, kitchenette (refrigerator, utensils/plates, sink, electric kettle, but no stove top), private bathroom, and bedroom equipped with a desk/chair, armoire, TV, etc. One suite is on the 1st floor, one on the 2nd floor, and one on the 3rd floor; the office is on the ground floor. My room was very clean and comfortable. ||||A two minute walk to the beach and nearby restaurants, Cosmic Holiday Inn is in a relatively quiet area, set off the main road.||||I am very glad I stayed here.
