Wilson Beach resort

I loved this place. I planned to stay 1 night and stayed about 5. Room was nice size, clean and no bugs, so that's a plus. Great value for money, and has a pool. I watched the pool get cleaned every morning, so another plus. The owner was super friendly and helped with everything I needed. I really wish I had more time as I would have stayed longer. Not sure why this place has bad reviews, because it doesn't deserve them. For india, one of the best and best value.

The place is located 2 mins from the beach and has a relaxing vibe . Staff is always helpful, and we always had a little chit chat when passing by the reception area . The room was basic , but for that price, don't expect more . It was clean and bed linen was also fresh. You get what you pay for ! If you pay for a premium room , you will also get air-con and fridge . Pool was cleaned daily . I stayed 2 extra nights . I loved it so much .

I recently booked a pet-friendly room at Wilson Ayurvedic Beach Resort in Kovalam for a 9-hour stay while visiting a veterinary doctor for my dog's surgery. Unfortunately, the owner's/Manager's behaviour was extremely rude, particularly towards female customers. The property's condition was horrific - bedsheets, curtains, bathroom, and furniture were all in poor condition. The rooms stink, pipes didn't work in the bathrooms, and water wasn't always available. No soap, handwash, room freshner, tooth paste, tea/coffee powder, sugar provided. What's worse, after allowing pets in the room, the owner/Manager threatened to charge extra for having the pet during checkout. During the stay the whole time we were sleeping because we drove 24 hours without sleep and rest. Still the owner/manager cooked up a story that the guest was complaining about the dog barking. The dog was unwell and he was sleeping the whole time. If they have issues with pets, they shouldn't advertise pet-friendly rooms. It's unacceptable to intimidate clients after initially permitting pets. The staffs were supportive. But the behaviour of the owner was unacceptable. I will never recommend this place to any national or international tourists. The rooms and interior look cheap and untidy.

The resort is near to beach within 100m and it is easy to find it. Room are very clean and tidy. Although the rooms are old it is affordable and best among the hotels nearby. It has a swimming pool where they clean it every day. Overall it is best.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. They made us stay in a different property. We paid for a sea view room, but there is no view because of an apartment. They don't even have their own restaurant. The manager is very rude. He treated us like trash. They don't even have manners of how to speak to guests. This is not even a hotel. It's a third class lodge.They even dont provide hand wash liquid in washroom no freshner nothing The rooms stink a lot. We had to walk for half a km in a very narrow passage with a lot of luggage. The bottom of the pool was covered with moss and algae. It was like a sewer. We had to purchase bottles of water. They didn't even provide normal drinking water. The AC was working, but the remote is not at all. There was no switch to turn it off. They don't even provide proper utensils. The pillows and bedsheets were dirty. Blankets, towels etc were not even given. This room was not even worth 500 rupees, and they charged 3000 + tax. I would like if these hotel booking apps add a 0 star rating, especially for this one. In short, please do not book this hotel. Guys if u going to Kovalam ,please avoid this resort ,literally is not a resort is a lodge Booking .com is promoting for comission only .

One of the worst resorts in Kovalam. Booked it for 3 people. Room walls are dirty and unpleasant to look at Additional pillows were not given only 2 were given. Suppliment such as soaps were not provided Bathroom was a nightmare, closet seats were broken. No utility to hang towels or dress Clear treatment towards local tourists and out of country tourists Such a cheap behavior Will never recommend to anyone

Value for money. Just book it if you are not looking for high end stuff... every thing is decent and room is situated 50 meters away from the beach.
