Taj Green Cove Resort & Spa, Kovalam

We stayed at the Taj Green Cove Resort at Kovalam, for a short weekend getaway, to celebrate our youngest daughter's first birthday. Our entire stay was remarkable and the reassuringly warm Taj hospitality ensured that we left very satisfied. ||Taj Green Cove is a stunning, lush and green property located adjacent to Kovalam beach. The most wonderful part of our stay, was waking up to the most beautiful sounds of the exotic birds perched in the trees around our villa!||The resort has a green water lagoon passing through it which, along with the beach road, divides the property in two. While the reception and rooms are located on one side of the road, the portion closest to the sea is used for evening recreation activities, banquets and also hosts a restaurant - Bait - which serves some authentically mouth watering and delicious local cuisine!||Though the name - Bait - suggests a pre-dominantly sea food based menu, this is not the case. The restaurant has an extensive variety of excellent vegetarian options as well. The Tofu Ghee Roast, in particular, was amazing! Mani, at Bait, took excellent care of.||There are two adjacent restaurants by the pool which also serve as the coffee shop where breakfast is served each morning. Abhishek truly went above and beyond to ensure that our every whim was catered to - preparing special dishes to suit our requirements. The chef prepared the most amazing pollichathu - which was not on the menu - only because one of us mentioned that we had a craving for some! ||Sonia, at the main restaurant, took amazing care of us and really bonded with the children. She took time out to talk to them and truly made us feel at home. ||We really look forward to visiting the Taj Green Cove again very soon!

What stood out on our 3 Day stay at Taj Green Cove was their impeccable service, food and the ever smiling staff. We were greeted with a shell garland and a refreshing lime water. Prakash Mahanto gave us a beautiful tour of the property in his buggy. Chef Harish Rawat, doesn't talk much while his cooking talks a lot. The chocolates that he prepared were very yummy. Kichidi made to order was just perfect for my son. Mr Abhishek was a very good host at the restaurant. He insisted on trying Appam , it was a delight I would have missed. All the food we had there was very delicious. Mr Meghanathan and Mr Ramesh kept the room in an impeccable condition. The property is beautiful and my son was pampered by Mr Joel who kept him company during evening games and fish feeding. The buggy was always just a call away. The property gives you Bali vibes with plunge pools. The evening setup by the beach with snacks is very romantic. Kerala boat ride is very scenic and a must try. Cycling/Jogging by the lagoon amidst the greenary is very refreshing. Most of our time was at the beautiful infinity pool. We were also treated with Bharatanatyam performances in the evening. During check-out we were given a beautiful send-off piece of cake with a thank you note from Mr Abhishek and Mr Harish Rawat. | I had forgotten my jacket in the room and only realised it after landing back home. I contacted the Taj helpline and Mr James, helped me tag to Mr Sreekumar who beautifully packed it and shipped it to my residence. I am just blown away by your hospitality. I thank all of you @TAJ GREEN COVE for making our stay memorable. We have been to many Taj properties across countries as well, but this one stands out and is more closer to our heart.

I had a truly memorable and relaxing stay at Taj Green Cove. The property is stunning -- calm, quiet, and surrounded by nature. The staff were exceptionally friendly and warm, making us feel welcome at every step. The breakfast and other meals were delicious, and the high tea with a sunset view was absolutely amazing -- one of the highlights of the trip! I did spot a snake, probably non-venomous, near my cottage that brushed my leg, which was unexpected but may be a part of the natural surroundings. Other than that, everything was perfect. The resort is peaceful, the views are beautiful, and the hospitality was truly mind-blowing. I would definitely visit again!

Taj Green Cove Resort, Kovalam definitely lives up to the Taj service standards. We had an excellent stay. The food was delicious and the staff ensures that you leave the property with a fond memory. They take utmost care and ensure that you have a pleasant stay. Our interactions with Chef Harish Rawat, Abhishek, Mani, Rahul at the Restaurants and Shiva and Netra at the front desk was amazing. Everyone at the restaurant was eager to receive feedback and if we didnt like something, they made all the efforts to ensure that we got what we wanted.||Would definitely recommend a stay here.

This hotel was exceptional in every aspect. Hotel had a huge and beautiful property especially the lagoon and the seaside and we enjoyed a lot in this hotel. Every staff was kind and professional and among them, I wish to highlight Mr. Abhishek Kumar and his team for providing stunning F&B service in every meal. As I was travelling with little daughter and we are not local, food was always a problem for us but his team, especially Mr. Kaushik supported us and helped us to get anything we want. Looking back, 4 nights we stayed there passed like 4 hours as swimming pool, high tea, boating and seaside tour was stunning. Wish to go back whenever we can

Over all an excellent experice, Rooms are spacious and well equiped. Staffs are soo helpful. Excellent quality and tasty food. Very well maintained common spaces. Good balance of activities inside the property to keep oirselfa engaged.

We had a lovely experience staying at Taj kovalam.|Dinner at bait , their seaside restaurant was fantastic. High tea served near the sea side was the most picturesque.|Taj kovalam has the unique location advantage , where they have large open green area in the middle of a lagoon and the sea. It's just breathtakimg.|As always , taj hospitality is always top notch. Special mention to abhirama , noyal and Abhishek.||Would visit again with the entire family in winter months

Courteous and friendly staff.. the property is extremely good with lots of greenery and positive vibes. The walk through by the staff give us lots of insight on the property and facilities that we can avail during our stay. We have selected the property which is a partial sea view facing that gives us great view from the room.||Keep up the good work and we enjoyed thoroughly during our stay.
