GETAWAY BEACH RESORT KOVALAM

I recently stayed at Gateway Beach Hotel and was thoroughly impressed by the food. Every meal was a highlight of my stay. The on-site restaurant offers a great variety, from fresh local seafood to international favorites, all prepared with obvious care and attention to flavor.|Shibu Fsb manager very good service at restaurant. I thanks shibu for his kindness. ||Breakfast had a generous spread, with fresh fruits, baked goods, and hot options cooked to order. Lunch and dinner menus were equally satisfying--especially the grilled fish and tropical-inspired desserts. The service was warm and attentive, making dining feel like a real treat.

This is an excellent value for money property in Kovalam. The staff Mr. Wilfred and Team are all very courteous and supportive. The view from the Imperial rooms with balcony is one to cherish. If you would like to go to the beach you can go towards the Leela Raviz hotel for easier access to the beach, the two other accesses to the beach have a steep downhill slope. The breakfast at the hotel is pretty good and the restaurant staff can be requested for custom local dishes. Overall a great stay - highly recommend for a clean and comfortable stay.

We loved our stay here. Rooms are (there are two with lounge area) spacious enough since we are 3 member family, huge restroom with a big bath tub. Loved the view of the beach from the balcony area! Hotel/restaurant assistance was fantastic, food was very nice. We reached early and they were able to arrange an early check in (we paid a bit extra for that but that's fair). Our stay over all was amazing! Nice area to stay with fee other hotels lined up around and a taxi stand nearby and availability of autos around. Would recommend to go for it. |Points to note -|-Beach is about 200mtrs from here, not connecting through the property.|-Dressing mirror/table is inside the rest room as it's big but faced that issue especially if someone needs to use it, have to wait for the other person to be done. Would have loved to have some sort of arrangement for a mirror outside the restroom as well.

Good stay.. staffs are very polite...room sizes are very big and all the rooms are has sea view...it is 200 meter from Hawa beach and kovalam beach ... 2nd UG level swimming pool view rooms are too good. And suitable for both couples and family as well.|Ravisankar, Bangalore

Had a very delightful getaway with my family. The suite rooms were excellent maintained and spacious. The view was amazing, and the hotel staff are very polite and helpful. They even arrange a small birthday decor for my wife wife's birthday Mr. Wilfred and Mr. Shibu All staff well behaved and polite. Overall, a delightful getaway it was.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Getaway Resorts in Kovalam, and it truly exceeded all expectations. Initially I had thought there is direct road from hotel to beach as it is visible in map. But we need to go through the street approx 300m which was minor setback. Swimming pool looks bigger in picture, but it is little small which is good otherwise. Swimming pool cleaning is not done regularly.
