FabHotel Wateredge Beach Resort - Hotel in Vellar Junction, Thiruvananthapuram

Extremely poor services. Broken furniture in the rooms. Washbasin broken, door lock broken. Not providing water in the room. Breakfast is not a buffet system and serving food on demand in a critical condition. Water in washroom and wash basin stopped. Dirty water running in the taps. Even though you can't wash your hand with this water. Ants are running in the bathroom and on the bed. It was hard to stay in the rooms. My tour was booked by make my trip and how this reputed company is booking this hotel, could not understand the reason.

The room we got was in adjacent building not in the building shown in image. It was a bit away from waterfront. Room was not cleaned properly, did not get hotwater properly. Breakfast was good but limited options. No tea sachets and intercom.

This is not a 3 star hotel.Very bad experience.No hot water in bathroom,no table for keeping suitcase.They provided a electric kittel but not given a tea sachet or sugar n milk sachet. Breakfast is nearby small hotel arrenged by them.and it was not a buffeet type. Horrible experience. I don't know who gave them a 3 star hotel Tag.it was a Guest House.

Amazing location and good service. Rooms are dated. This hotel is nestled among 4 and 5 star hotels but its rooms are the closest to the beach. You can almost feel the waves crashing against the rock wall from the balcony.

You don't get whatever you see in the pictures at all. No phone, no basic amenities. The manager's behaviour was completely unprofessional and with zero experience in the field he was working in. When informed about the downside of his approach towards us, his response was to consider this as an experience. The rooms were not at all clean with cockroach and dirt on the floor. Should never consider this place if travelling with friends or family. The whole mood of vacation was spoiled. Will never go back there and would not recommend this place at all. Not at all worthy of even one star.

Fabhotel's "Waters Edge" property at Samdra Beach, Kovalam is ideally suited for families who want to enjoy peace of mind during your holidays away from the crowd and hullabaloo which you might not like at Kovalam beach hotels. There is a Taxi/ auto stand at walking distance close by (~100m) to cater your local travels. Uber cabs were also available on call. The hotel staff were very cooperative and helpful. Room service is excellent and I was very much satisfied the way they took care of all our needs. Special mention of Mr. Pushpadas and Manager Mr. Sanal who entertained all our requests with a courteous smile. Both Premium and Delux category rooms were fitted with newly fitted AC and fan. Deluxe rooms do not have sea view though. Rooms are very comfortable, cozy and clean. No space for any complaints. The premium rooms have Sea-view balcony where you can enjoy the roaring sea waves and fishing activities in the morning. If you ask about things missing.. An intercom telephone for reaching out to Room service/restaurant should've been there in rooms. The "Sea Gull Resturant" attached to the hotel provide you a sea view ambience ( no A/c though) and serves delicious food at very affordable prices. They prepare food as per your taste and specific requests. I tasted many local dishes and I will surely rate the cook Mr. Unnikrishnan very high. Enjoyed my sea-side "candlelight dinner". Overall I had a comfortable stay at WATER'S EDGE during my April 2024 visit with family at a very reasonable price. The awesome hospitality will stay in my memory. Thanks WATER'S EDGE.

A lovely hotel, set in a beautiful location near to sea shore.the views and pleasant wind from sea makes very relaxing and chill. Most important part is the staff of the place are extremely humble, jovial, soft spoken, kind, attentive and most helpful. The restaurant is in first floor and food is delicious. From the balcony of restaurant , we could view the sea and feel the cool breeze. We found our bed to be very comfortable and our rooms were very spacious, with everything we needed. We would happily visit again.

Excellent location, right on the beach. If you get the corner room on the building closest to the sea, that has amazing views. This is a budget place but with better views of the sea compared to the costlier options nearby. The rooms are basic, clean and spacious. The staff is very friendly, especially Mr Sanal.
