The Grand ambassador

This was my fourth visit in a year. This was disgusting on my birthday. We ordered food for four of us. Except me all the three had food poisoning. Its not like before they dont have consistency in taste / quality. Fish was rotten i think. I will neither go there nor recommend to go there.

Block 5 in Grand Ambassador hotel in Kottayam is a perfect place to chill out with friends and family. Great ambience serving variety drinks and delicious food. Had a nice time in last outing. Courteous staff and good service. Worth a try and value for money. Best wishes!

The Grand Ambassador Kottayam . The hotel is neat, tidy, and beautifully maintained. The reception staff are incredibly gracious and welcoming, making every guest feel at home. Maintenance requests are handled with impressive speed. Highly recommend for a wonderful stay.

The food was average. We ordered a seafood platter and an Arabic platter, which included a variety of kebabs, but they didn't taste as good as expected. However, the dynamite prawns were delicious, and the starter that accompanied the seafood platter was also decent.

If you are looking out for fine dine in Kottayam with somebody don't go to this place and embarrass yourself. I had the worst service and horrible experience from this place today. I had ordered fish curry meals. After waiting for a long time for that , the waiter gave a bowl of fish curry with no fish pieces in it instead a kudampuli piece. I asked the waiter and he told he had only personally served the fish in the bowl as if I was lying. I showed him the bowl and then he told he will go and bring the curry. I haven't seen that guy at all, after that. All the staff in the restaurent hardly know anything about the food or service. Im never visiting this place again. If someone doesn't want such humiliating experiences for a fine dine, please don't go. PS: THE FOOD WAS BAD AND FISH WAS NOT AT ALL FRESH. IT WAS SPRUCED UP WITH LEMON AND SPICES TO MASK THE FACT THAT ITS NOT FRESH.

Centrally located, with well guided parking. I ordered a seafood platter and a kanthari prawn. Liked the food. Will come again
