Hotel KOTTAYAM ATHIRA RESIDENCY

Had breakfast from the restaurant. Appam and kadala curry was delicious. The coffee and tea offered tasted great. Seems like the restaurant is under new management. Few things that could be improved would be 1. Easier identification of the washroom area. 2. The staff were diligent and presentable, but their dressing and grooming could be more polished. A uniform might enhance their professional appearance.

The restaurant is located in a convenient and easily accessible area, which is definitely a plus. The ambiance is average -- nothing particularly special but decent enough for a casual meal. However, the food was a letdown. We ordered the chicken biriyani, and it was really disappointing -- lacking in flavor, freshness, and overall appeal. With such a popular dish, we expected better.

I stayed with my family for 1 day in this hotel Luxurious and neat room..Staffs are also very kind and polite.. Reception is available full time.. I am very satisfied with my stay

Disappointing Experience I recently visited Athira Residency in Kottayam, and unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming. Upon arrival, I was surprised to find that I wasn't offered a welcome drink, which I believe is a standard courtesy in many establishments. What's more concerning, however, is that the treatment seemed to vary based on the mode of transportation. I arrived on a bike, and the staff's response was lukewarm, to say the least. In contrast, I noticed that guests who arrived in cars were greeted with a warm welcome. This disparity in treatment left a sour taste, and I'm not sure if it's a one-off incident or a reflection of their overall service standards. As someone who values a warm and welcoming experience, I would caution potential guests to be aware of this. Perhaps the management needs to revisit their customer service policies to ensure that all guests feel valued and appreciated, regardless of how they arrive.

Neat And Clean luxury Rooms and very satisfying service. Staffs are very polite and kind. Restaurant foods are very tasty i liked it.

This was the worst service experience I've ever had. I contacted them directly to check the availability of 5 rooms. They said the manager/owner would be available after 11 AM and would call back to confirm the booking. Unfortunately, no one contacted me. Very poor quality of service. Please avoid.

Today 22.04.2025 I went to The resturant to have brakefast with my family.Ordered porota and chilli chicken.As we started eating we made out that the chicken is old and quality of porota is poor and old.Foul smell started coming from chicken pcs.Raised the query to the manager. Shameless and greedy people.They are selling adulterated food.Shameless peoples in the resturant.Since our system is so corruped there is no point in complaining to authority.Please do not stop and eat from the hotel.This is for you health and wellbeing.Please boycott such greedy people.
