Hotel Icon Classic

Booked through Gobibo. But while check in, the receptionist told me that they didn't receive receipt from Gobibo. So he made me to wait for 30 minutes. Horrible attitude towards customers. Finally given a room which is different from what I booked online. After my request, he changed the room. Toilet and bedding were ok. But no tea or food available at 8 pm. They have only two or three car parking slot for customers. That too very close to the door near Bar. We have to compromise for many things if you are with family.

I recently visited Icon Classic Lounge Bar and it was an incredible experience. The bartender was friendly and attentive. Overall, I had a fantastic time there and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an enjoyable evening out.

Our Stay at Hotel icon classic was excellent. Great hospitality the moment we arrived "it was amazing experience with specially I will mention about their manager, staff, each and everyone was so co-operative and smiley, I want to visit this place again Highly recommend to stay here." Room was neat and clean, especially the toilet was very well-kept.

Stayed here as I couldnt get room at the usual hotel. This hotel was primarily built to get the license for the BAR it seems. BUT,the rooms are neatly maintained. The staff is only a handful, but helpful. No complimentary breakfast or water.Situated in the heart of the city. If the quality and amenities are increased a bit, this hotel could become one of the betters ones in Kottayam. Ideal for budget conscious guys.

Bad experience.Couldn't charge phone. No plug points!!!!!! No water bottle provided nor toiletries . Broken dustbins and unclean bathrooms. Room smelled very bad and need immediate maintenance.Sheets have not been changed for a long time. Rooms are nothing like shown in Google images and they accept only cash. On the plus side, Ac and hot water worked. Close to the railway station.

The out side board and presentation gives a good impression. The rooms are average. The restorant service is too poor. There is no possibility to get even a cofee before 12noon. The restaurant also opening only from 11.30 but the reception will never say the truth to the customers.

Great location (close to town center, transport and private stands, etc.) and basic structure, room accessories, bathroom fittings, etc. are well-done/high-end. Staff was generally helpful. However, the room was poorly maintained, with a musty smell and dirty/dusty counter-top and chair. Counter-top panel was peeling off and not-too-clean phone had no instructions on how to use for various services. Linen and bathroom were clean, though. Corridor was dingy and had a similar musty smell. Basement level bar was also a bit disconcerting as inebriation started early in the day and went on till the wee hours. Food options did not start till 8 a.m., but there are restaurants nearby, although a coffeemaker would have been helpful. Important: the bottled water that comes with the room is not sealed, so please ask for a new bottle (have to pay, but worth it for one's health).

Good location as it is in the middle of town. Parking space at the bottom of hotel. Rooms smells terrible, no hot water (staff brings hot water in bucket on morning, gave a coil and bucket to heat water for next morning . No lift, vacated next am as we had enough, charged for 2 nights though. Not even a one star hotel. Email from booking .com few days later stating, we did not show up to hotel at all. Manager and staff tried to accommodate us as much as possible, but unfortunately it's not enough. No Wi-Fi at all anywhere.
