Homestead Hotel

Rooms and service is ok it near to railway station if you want quick fresh up and go to some other location this hotel is good option

Room was very small, but was neat , Location is prime.

It is a very old hotel but maintained very clean.|It has 3 floors but unfortunately they do not have an elevator.|Similarly some of the rooms have hot water and many do not have.|But the receptionist and the staff are very polite and friendly.|The tariff is very reasonable and this place can be used for a short duration stay.|They have no restaurant but there is one adjacent called Thali, which is again a 40 year old restaurant serving traditional Kerala food both veg and non veg.|Overall a nice experience

The best one in Kottayam town.. very neat and well maintained. Very safe for solo travellers too..i am a frequent visitor nd now i feel it's my own home..Hotel Thali which is associated with it, is another attraction ...very neat restaurant, excellent service and tasty food in Kottayam..

Very disappointing experience as the staff members were very rude. Especially the receptionist Mrs. Anitha behaved in a very bad manner to us. I would not suggest this property to anyone as it does not have the following options; 1. No TV 2. No blankets 3. No room service 4. No plates and glasses 5. They won't allow us to go outside after 11 pm Overall, this property is more of like a hostel. Please don't take rooms at Homestead.

Been there recently and liked the place. It's very homely. Very simple place. Very reasonable prices. Very courteous staff. The Thali restaurant close-by makes it more convenient for the guests. Though it was my visit to Homestead, I felt it was like home away from home. And for Journalists working with the Malayala Manorama group, the office is right opposite the hotel.This hotel is a good find in Kottayam.

Located at about 1 km from railway station, it is a good place to stay, though the room are little small but good enough for a single person, nearby market, and Thali restaurant which serves both Veg and non veg food.

I am writing this review on staying at homestead, had very very bad experience. A group of students where making chill out at night started around 11.25 pm onwards outside and the receptionist Allowing it Ignoring other paid Guests are there. Even After Complaining no response from managment..what a pity Zero value for Guests. Poor Hygiene..No room service..Full of mosquitoes Room fare for 1 person is more than 800 also Don't take a room rather than taking room there !! Recommend :
