I had a fantastic stay! The room was spotless, the staff were incredibly friendly, a paradise for nature lovers and one of the most captivating destinations in Kerala, The climate in Poonjira is pleasantly cool, offering a refreshing escape from the heat of the lowlands. Mist drapes the mountains in the early mornings and nights creating a dreamy ambiance that makes you feel as though you've stepped into heaven. a place where nature's magic and treasured moments come together perfectly.

Such a beautiful place to spend a weekend, The staff are very good and kind.. Very friendly, they will help you in every way... Best place to relax and enjoy.... All other hot spots are near by, cottage is in prime location...

Luxury of having a great view, wind, fog etc. A mix of everything for a great vibe. Dtpc cottage is a good place for a good weekend. The care takers are cool and supportive got nice service. Must visit place

wonderful and full of mist at the top of the mountain. There is more like hiking to the top of mountain. There is jeep for those who dont want to walk. A dood view from the top. Good place to visit .

Elaveezhapoonchira is good hill station. The place is located in the border of both kottayam and idukki district in the kerala state. There is a police wireless station.At the top of view point we can see the periyar rever and malankara dam and its reservoir. At time of rain and thunderstorm don't visit this place because the chances of lightning are very high.we can see the good sunrise and sunset on this place.
