This is not a hotel rather we can call it as a abandoned building. I stayed with my family members here for 2 days to attend marriage. Room condition is in very worse . Very old TV not working, Very old cot and mattress. Fans are running with big noise like grinder. Water jug is rusted one. Toilet are in very worst condition. No hot water in the toilets. No water will be provided. No lights are there in common area. Even In the reception there is no fan and very dark. Seems that hotel owner is money minded and very keen on not spending a penny. We have to beg for a cup of water. And the in-charge person is very rude and he is not ready to see our face and answer. No room boy or any helper kind of person is available in this hotel. Never ever i would think of this type of hotel. It was a bad experience and Waste of money. After reading the previous reviews, it seems it has been like this for many years. Only money motive. Since, it was already booked and paid by other person, we could not move from there. I have never seen such an ill mannered person who is a in-charge there. Hope Local body health authorities are not aware about this hotel

We stayed at the See Bee for a night whilst passing trough Kollam. It is located in a good area, only a short walk from the bus station. The hotel itself is well priced and clean. There is a bar next door to the hotel but the hotel restaurant itself was not open during our stay although we were told we could order fried rice dishes to our room. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was very hot in our room during the evening even with the fan so a/c room may be better than fan only.

I don't think 900R a night is cheap by Indian standards and I have stayed in places that far exceeded this that cost half the price. No wifi (which I don't understand in a hotel of this status) and the room was very basic. One side of the bed had all the sweepings of the previous guest so the cleaners hadn't done the best of jobs. Shower and bathroom was fine...wouldn't stay for more than one night. I think that's my advice for Kollam as a whole though....

If some ask me about the hotel, First of all hotel is ok, but not worth for money. Telling by my experience. I Stayed in room no.508. paid Rs.850 for a day(Non AC).for that room maximum we can give Rs.500(Maximum). Dear Management, Keep the room neat and clean.Check the Electronic items condition.

Near the KSRTC Bus stop. Had a short and unplanned trip, though rooms throughout the town was full since this being not so near to the railway station, rooms were available. Reasonably managed, they have rooms below Rs.1000/- which is reasonable for the price and the facilities offered. Rooms are spacious and reasonably neat. Not an awesome experience but worth the price for budget accommodation.

Having telephoned several cheaper hotels and found them all to be full, I thought I would ask for a recommendation from a hotel opposite the railway station (I forget the name), that was out of my budget. The receptionist was extremely helpful, and gave me the address of the Sea Bee. It was conveniently located near the bus stand, the ferry port and the tourist office from where you can start a trip to the backwaters.||When I got to the hotel, I thought it would be way above budget too. Modern, spacious, whitewashed outside, with a large marbled floor lobby. A non A/C room at 750 rupees is normally above my budget, but I was tired and was only staying one night. The only catch was that there was no hot water in the bathroom, but they provided a bucket of very hot water in the morning for a 20 rupees supplement. I had the restaurant to myself that evening, and ate very well for under 100 rupees (PS1). If you don't have the time or the inclination to look for a real budget hotel (this can take several hours and cost a few hundred rupees in rickshaws if you are not careful), then this hotel is a safe bet though about 200 rupees overpriced for a non A/C room without hot water on tap.

Hotel looks shoddy from outside, but rooms are more than acceptable for very little money. Ceiling fan, spacious rooms and bathrooms, comfy bed, clean sheets and cable tv. Close to bus station. Although this hotel is fine, Kollam itself had very little to offer travellers unless its your start point for houseboat. Would not recommend spending any more time here.

From side of building is brighter and reverse is inside. In the bathroom there was continuous water leakage from roof, old style TVs, but big rooms, old furnishing, having more attraction of bar at ground floor, big property having rare customer turn out. Service staff as road side helper, no hotel staff behaviour
