Hotel Prasanthi

I went to the restaurant for lunch with my family. Such a sumptuous and tasty lunch. The ambience is great. Recommend anyone who wants to spend some quality time with family over lunch.

A fine gem in the midst of Kollam. Was pleasantly surprised at the room amenities, basic yet beautifully crafted. Even the bathroom was really well done, with copper plates fittings. From the outside as well, the Hotel looks like a work of art. Would recommend this to all travellers coming to Kollam.

Dinner at Prasanthi hotel, Kollam. Today we went to have dinner, at this place, the hostess was pleasant and cheerful. Quickly found us a table, that was the best thing that happened there. The rest was all downhill. There was a long wait for the waiter to take our order, food came very late. Meanwhile, the home grown mosquitoes had a field day trying out all sorts of bites, gentle soft ones, which one would hardly notice, the moderate ones which would make you stop whatever you were doing and the heavy artillery, which when they pounce on you, willl make you scream and jerk up like a jack in the box. Finally the food came, just ordinary bland food without the spicy taste of our local food. One good thing about food it wasn't very salty. The salt was right. We managed to down the oily puri and the bland masala mixed with the sauce left over after the soup. About the soup, it was great! With all the right amount of vegetables and lentils floating in it, and the spices were just right. So how would I rate the experience? Puri oily ones, 4/10, the masala,3/10, but the soup an 8/10, ambience 6/10, the AC 7/10 and the cost 8/10, Puri & masala: 4/10, waiters:5/10, overall satisfaction : 6/10. We had a pleasant and peaceful stay at Prashanthi from Feb 16 to Feb 20. The front desk manager Vishnu, GRE Lincy and all other staff members were very courteous and did their duty to their utmost ability. Needless to say the food was delicious and we always looked forward to eat, the most inviting breakfast buffet to the crispy dosai dinners! We felt very much at home and will be back, when we next visit Kollam city. Last but not the least, the cab driver Anil, arranged by the hotel staff also made sure, we reached our destination safe and sound. Well done, to the managing team of Prashanthi Hotel.

Lost the taste and quality from restaurant take over, used to be our familie's every Sunday breakfast point, well not anymore, price went up, quality and taste took a stark dip

Today went to Prasanthi Non veg restaurant. ( yes they have a veg only restaurant in first flour). Very good service food was so tasty and reasonable price. All the best. Thank you

The Prasanthi is an exceptionally good hotel and very unexpected. The rooms were immaculate, stylish, airy and with plenty of space. The shower was great, super powerful, and everything very clean and well-appointed. The breakfast was delicious and the staff very helpful. It was a very welcome place to spend a night after a day of travelling, highly recommend.

I stayed with my wife for 10 days in this beautiful place, amazing location, quiet and safe. Garden view room with balcony gives refreshing experience every morning. feel like you are at home. exceptional room service: tea and coffee immediate delivery, room is very tidy and to premium standard. Reception people Neetu, Vishnu, Nandu are very polite and friendly! Food and service in restaurant are very good! Quality morning breakfast with wide range of selection. Fresh juices and fruits always there. Thank you to restaurant manager and all team, especially Rincy, Sudheesh. I definitely recommend this hotel for good stay in Kollam and look forward to come back again.
