HOTEL GOLDEN STAR

A very good hotel for the price they charge. It is located opposite to the back entrance of Kollam junction railway station. The rooms were very tidy and the staff were courteous. During my stay the restaurant wasn't functional. The staff told that it would be functional soon. However, ordering food from outside was allowed.

Such a worst service in the whole life...the staffs are so arrogant as they offer us a free service.. and while booking they offers multiple services and once we avail it. They charge high price. They also offer free breakfast while booking and once we checkin they change it.and we need to pay extra for the breakfast...the worst experience we faced is from the receptionist..they are behaving like we are asking to give something free...they charge 2x price..

A good experience here. Good and neat rooms, with good services and amenities. Located just behind Kollam Jn, walkable distance. Note: Please book via MakeMyTrip or Booking.com, as they don't have collaboration with any other websites, which might show lower rates.

It was a pleasant stay for us . Staff's are well behaving and very helpful towards the customers .please choose to book directly with the hotel dont go to a any booking websites. Overall it was 5/5

Worst hotel experience, kindly find several other good choices available in the area. They claim to be a 4 star hotel, nevertheless their service was not even up to the mark of 1 star. Especially the attitude of the stakeholders surprised me, they literally don't care even if you avail their service or not (well treated or not) which made me wonder why they really invested such a huge amount of money to build such a hotel. I would recommend all my fellow travellers to avoid this hotel as you can definitely find several other wonderful options in the area inorder for a healthy, happy and peaceful stay. Please don't select this place as they don't value your hard earned money and treat you bad. Kindly avoid wasting your time, energy and finance associating with such a place.

For business travelers, the hotel offers excellent conference and meeting facilities, equipped with everything you need for a productive session. The Wi-Fi was fast, and the meeting rooms were spacious and well-equipped. Car parking is ample and easily accessible, a major plus in a busy location like Kollam. For those with mobility concerns, the hotel is wheelchair accessible, ensuring a hassle-free experience for all guests. One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary breakfast. It was a delightful spread, with a variety of both local and international options, all freshly prepared. The breakfast area was bright and inviting, making it a great way to start the day.
