Eravipuram Beach

Eravipuram beach, once a very shallow and long beach with clean sand, is now safer only during the non-monsoon period. The beginning of Eravipuram beach now has a grounded ship that eventually created a log sandbar on the south east side of it. This area is accessible round the year. Families including children gather in this beach on the Christmas Day for fun in the sea. You could get free rides on traditional kattumaram and other water crafts.

Ideal for spending evenings lonely - A beach without much rush. Need for improvement in cleanness of the beach area. There is lack of seating arrangement for sea view.

Now it is lost to the sea though we can enjoy the beauty of the sea from the rocks. Now to enjoy the beauty of this beach you need to visit kakkathope region. The famous ship wrek on kakkathope has created a wider beach. Although the road is completely destroyed the beauty of the beach is worth it. You have to be hurry to enjoy the view because the demolishment is in progress.

Nice place to spend evening, which is on the way to paravoor through coastal road after kollam beach if you are starting from kollam town area. If you want little rush place to spend evening with family , you can chose eravipuram beach. This beach is near to place called thanni.

Pros: Beautiful, Clean beach, Great view. Cons:Reaching here is a bit hard coz the road isn't wide enough and broken at places.

The Shipwreck is the only thing to be seen in this side of the beach. This area is absolutely not safe to family... Never bring your family.
