Kondai Lip Backwater Heritage Resort is a beautiful, peaceful retreat with lake-facing cottages that offer a breathtaking sunrise view. The natural beauty around the resort is absolutely stunning and makes for a perfect escape from city life. There are lots of activities to enjoy--like kayaking, evening boat rides, fishing, and indoor games. The complimentary breakfast was really good too. Dinner is on the expensive side, but there are decent restaurants nearby if you likes to explore. One downside we noticed was that many of the common area lights are turned off at night, which can make it feel a bit too dark and unsafe in certain spots. A little more lighting would really improve the experience. Still, a wonderful place overall. Peaceful vibes, scenic views, and a great place to relax!

We had been to Kondailip Heritage Backwater Resort, Nestled amidst lush greenery and tranquil waters, a perfect blend of nature, heritage charm, and modern comforts. Overall our stay here was good. A few hiccups with the AC in the rooms and arranging the massages, but the staff was prompt in trying to resolve the issues. The restaurant was excellent with great food! Also, the surroundings and views are great. We loved catching the sunrise and sunset, along with the kayaking around the backwaters.

Our stay at kondai lip was very memorable. The room service and housekeeping folks were very attentive and courteous. The area around it is gorgeous and kayaking at sunset was definitely hard warming. There were also activities for kids like a swimming pool, badminton etc which was good to keep them engaged. One major qualm to point out is the food (dinner and lunch) for vegetarians/ vegans options was not the best and limited. One another thing to point out was the included breakfast did not have many variations. Though the overall experience was good, food plays a major role in giving us a complete experience.
