Last month, we spent a night here and enjoyed the beautiful location surrounded by backwaters. This is a very old property, maintained in a traditional style. The service was excellent, and our requested food was prepared on time. They offer pickup and drop-off services from the nearest railway station or airport, along with good parking facilities. The owner was friendly and supportive, helping us arrange cabs and autos for local sightseeing. The staff was extremely polite and provided excellent support. The rooms featured antique cupboards and cots, though they were not very spacious. Rooms were neat and clean and provided with 24hrs hot water.However, the approach to the property was somewhat challenging.

Vaiga Homes! I would say it's a decent homestay with minimal furnishing. They offer small to mid-sized rooms with a work-from-home setup, making it a budget-friendly option. The location is very close to the main market, and they also serve home-cooked food with pre-ordering. The rooms were clean, though the washroom could have been better. * Washroom: 4/5 * Room service: 3/5 * View: 5/5 * Overall stay: 4/5 We were a group of 7 and had booked 3 rooms. Our experience was okay. We requested an early prepaid breakfast as we had a flight to catch, but they declined. While I understand it's a family-run place and they have their own schedule, a bit of flexibility would have been appreciated. P.S. Since the stay is next to a lake, there was a constant fishy smell, which was a bit annoying, and a lot of mosquitoes due to the proximity to water.

Clean rooms, great service of staff, very good location near to fort cochin, we have a little entertainer, a cute dog Gpysy. The owner was super helpful and understanding. We had a taken a wrong baggage from airport and the owner offered to take us to the airport to get it exchanged. Thank you so much!

An Excellent place for peaceful and pleasant stay. I stayed here with my family for 3 days from 18 Dec 2024 onwards. A beautiful waterfront homestay that we enjoyed the most.The owner is very friendly and takes care of your needs personally and so are the staff too. The price also is quite attractive.

We had a great stay at Vaiga Homes. The host was very welcoming and the view from the property is incredible. Adequate availability of eateries in the vicinity. Highly recommended for a peaceful stay with family.

Location is nice; back water view; bus to the city outside the door, breakfast is simple but nice, warm water worked! Only a tiny bit far to go ti center, but very quiet! Good quality of sleep!

We had a pleasant stay in Vaiga Homes. Our entire family had a stay here for 2 days. Its very much like a home kind of feeling that we felt comfortable to leave our parents in the home while out for night outing. Definately gonne be our choice our next trip.
