We experienced a stay with a beautiful view typical kerala vibes with river infront, greenery, fishing net. The place is peaceful and we can have good family/ friends time. The owner is friendly and is always there to ensure we are not facing any difficulty.There is also kayaking here.

Awesome location. Clean and comfortable rooms. Delicious breakfast. I am thankful to their care and hospitality. Would like to visit again next time.

Excellent spot, It was a reunion of Kottakan's after 35 years of our college and hostel life. As soon as we alighted from our car, we all fell in love with is place. The greenery, Chinese nets, fantastically maintained chatting area, fish ponds of multiple type was a coveted experience. Thanks to our Kumbalangian friend who arranged this spot. Apart from all these, the care and hospitality extended by Mr Antony gives us sweet memories. Thanks to Mrs. Antony for the homely food they served us. We were treated like his close relatives. We will surely be back again !!!!!!!!!!!!!

We stayed at river roots water front home stay . We stayed for one night from 8thjuly 2024 to 9th July 2024. It is located on the backwaters .The stay is excellent.. food is also good . Owner was very friendly in explaining all the food and local availabilities . He showed his garden and explained each and every planted trees. We felt it as a home with their hospitality. It was an amazing experience..we had a chance of observing how Chinese nets are used to farm prawns. We tasted veg and non vegetarian all are excellent. Views from the stay are also excellent. We can enjoy fishing in ponds located in their stay. must try dish is caramel pudding.

To explain this place and hospitality by the prop is unexplainable. We 21 people occupied this place for a day and night. It was such a wonderful experience for each one of us. The people there helped us in all needs right from Welcome drinks, water refills, food on time to sending off us. Their food was awesome especially the Karimeen, Prawns etc. There were many activities in the place where your people get engaged without any boredom. You get a chance to Swim, fishing, boating etc. Their hospitality was top notch. And to be honest, the prices were fair and reasonable. You don't have to negotiate it.

We had a friends meet-up for a day, and this place was cost effective and suited our requirement. It's a waterfront property that provides great photographic frames. Welcome drink, lunch, evening tea, and snacks were served. The owner was present throughout to ensure that we were not having any difficulties.

We stayed at the Riveroots Waterfront Homestay in Kochi from 16 to 18 June 2024. We fell in love with the place the moment we stepped in. It is located plum on the backwaters. We are a family of 3 plus our pet dog so Mr. Anthony the owner gave us a very comfortable 1 bedroom apartment less than 20 feet from the waters edge. The river is lined with Chinese Fishing Nets which are operated in the evening/night. The place is out of this world. Mr. Anthony and his wife Missy made us feel at home right from the start. We felt like we had known them for years. Their hospitality was superb. He arranged a 1 hour motorboat ride through the backwaters and also a rowboat ride in the area. He taught my daughter how to fish and operate the Chinese Fishing Nets. He took us around the property patiently explaining about his plants, trees, fish, etc. The breakfast, lunch and dinner was delicious. We requested them for the local delicacies like Fish Curry and rice, fried fish, etc which they happily obliged us. It was mouth watering. I even requested him for my favourite drink TODDY which he arranged for us. On the last day of our stay, we had the opportunity of watching the shooting of an advertisement for JIO on the property. This place is very well known for film shooting and many have been shot there. We could not bring ourselves to leave but we had to after a thoroughly enjoyable holiday.
