Taj Malabar Resort & Spa, Cochin

One of the most beautiful properties I have stayed at ever. Superb location, right on the edge of the Arabian sea, overlooking the Ernakulam Port on the opposite. Extremely helpful staff. Super service. Fantastic Club house facilities. Food is nice. Evenings with Cultural activity makes it even more Vibrant & amazing.

Everything about our stay at this hotel is so beautifully take care of by the fantastic staff there. The best part about the Taj Malabar is the people. Of course the location is stunning - right on the water, historic willingdon island, fabulous food and drinks at the restaurants and bar, and so much more. Th hotel is completely remodelled so every room has all the latest amenities you would want to see in a premium luxury brand. But the highlight of the hotel is its staff. Elizabeth George Mookken looked after us from the moment we started our reservation - everything was taken care of for us. Every member of the reception team, hospitality team - they were all waiting for our arrival to greet us, took care of our every need while we were there. We hosted a party for my mother in law's birthday as well during our last stay and the Chef, the F&B team. Banquets team - from start to finish, they made us feel like we were family. We didn't have to ask twice for anything. I especially want to thank Elizabeth George Mookken for her gracious hospitality, so always going above and beyond and for ensuring every minute of our stay was perfect. |Highly recommend this hotel when you are in Cochin next.

The newly renovated property is superb . Have been staying here now for over 2 decades . Good rooms excellent air con and very comfortable. Food can be improved but was good. Amol and Sushmita made the stay extra special and the chauffeur who dropped us to the airport was a good driver and very safe. ||IHCL must take action on staff like Bharat who should be out on VRS as he gives the wrong impression to the guests and would be a good example as Tajness must prevail over all.

My sister and I had the most enjoyable visit to the Taj Malabar Resort & Spa, Kochi in early March. In fact, we had such a lovely time that we came back for her birthday weekend, and it was just as amazing. The communication from the staff even before our arrival was very timely, and they helped secretly arrange for cake and birthday decorations in our room. The room itself was tastefully decorated, clean, comfortable and had a smart TV. The sunset cruise was lovely as was their infinity pool and the food, ambience, and property were excellent. It is the perfect spot for a getaway, right on the water with beautiful views, a peaceful retreat from the bustling city. The staff were outstanding, Jasmine (front desk), Elizabeth (Guest Relations Manager), Alex and Dinesh (restaurant) and Latif, who kindly answered our questions about the plants in their gorgeous landscape. We even got to chat with the front office staff in charge of their one-of-a-kind floral arrangements in the lobby. Thank you all so much! We can't wait for our next visit.

The hotel is beautifully furnished, and all the staff are very attentive and courteous. Even though we stayed at the hotel for only two nights two years ago, some of the staff recognized us. Two years ago, the hotel offered a truly unique yoga experience. The sessions were held in a panoramic yoga room with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. Guided by a passionate and skilled instructor, the classes combined powerful and meditative practices, creating an unforgettable and relaxing retreat. Before our arrival, we asked if it would be possible to once again attend the morning yoga session with the exceptional yoga teacher Sreejith, and we were assured that it would be arranged. The serene environment allowed us to immerse ourselves fully in the world of yoga, providing a perfect escape from everyday life. This experience left a lasting impression on us, and we are eager to return to relive the tranquillity and rejuvenation it brought.

It's a small but really beautiful resort. We stayed in the Heritage Sea View room. I got to see dolphins in the morning from my room. The check-in process was really nice. Their staff is awesome. The complementary boat ride and cultural shows were great. Breakfast buffet was pretty good too. The only thing to point out is that the resort is really far away from the main city.

It was beautiful stay filled with amazing memories! Do not miss out on the evening boat cruise, the unlimited grills package at Dolphin point, and the dance programs daily at 7 PM. This hotel is filled with gems of staff who aim to pamper each and every guest! A special shout out to Ms. Elizabeth George Mooken from Guest relations, and Mr. Alex from all day dining ( Pepper). True custodians of Hospitality!

Overall stay was great. View is great and room was immaculate. Food was amazing, even though buffet options are limited and not exactly what we expected from a 5 star hotel chain like Taj. Location is not ideal if you want to visit the main CBD and sites, or even just go for a walk. The staff member that tended to us during check in was very money driven, has us purchase an upgraded room for a fee, even though it was our honeymoon. They also hadn't processed a separate refund even though we have been chasing it up with them for about a month.
