Riverside Heritage Homestay

I recently stayed this lovely homestay with my family, and it was an excellent experience. The location is close to the backwaters, providing a serene and picturesque setting. The place is very family-friendly, and we felt right at home. They serve delicious, homely breakfast that we thoroughly enjoyed. The hosts, Basil uncle and his wife, were incredibly supportive and welcoming, making our stay even more pleasant. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend it.

This home stay is run by Basil and Annie. Very sweet, knowledgeable and helpful couple. Guests have access to large area surrounded by trees and at the edge of backwaters. Annie cooks very authentic malyalam bkfst items. Location of this home stay is worth the price As long as pricepoint stays reasonable this is a beutifull place

We found Basil Uncle's place through Airbnb. Uncle was extremely helpful and affectionate. He helped us get tickets for the Kathakali show and gave other recommendations as well. He also served us delicious South Indian breakfast made from his home-grown coconuts . The place is very peaceful and relaxing.

Me and my wife enjoyed our stay at River side heritage home stay. Mr Basil is a very nice person and a great host. I received very clear instructions to reach the place. The place is surrounded with greeneries and back water . Clean and well maintained property which is far from city crowd. Must visit for them who likes to enjoy their vacation in a calm and quiet place within the vicinity of nature and surrounded by Kerala back waters. Mr Basil also suggested us to visit the famous Kerala Kathakali Dance which we found worth the time to spend. Also some great locations to enjoy the local food. The homemade morning breakfast which we shared the table with him was a cherry on the cake about his hospitality. We had a great chit chat about his early work life and the entire career journey. I must recommend everyone to make a visit this place for sure if you are in Kerala !

The room at heritage homestay is so comfortable with an Air conditioning and a spacious spotless washroom. With just a few seconds of walk you can Enjoy the backwaters of Kerala. The host basil is always ready for what i need. He is a super host, helped me to be more comfortable. He provided a super traditional complimentary breakfast including a fresh juice. Thanks

We stayed with Basil and his family for 2 days. The location was gorgeous, with the backwaters right outside the room, well maintained grounds, lots of trees and flowers. The facilities were adequate, home made food by his wife was amazing. Basil was very helpful with advice on travel and places to visit. Lovely stay, would definitely be back again!
